The CW today announced the broadcast television premiere of the four-hour event miniseries LABYRINTH , airing across two consecutive nights on Thursday, May 22 (8:00-10:00pm ET) and concluding Friday, May 23 (8:00-10:00pm ET). Filmed on-location in the medieval town of Carcassonne in southwest France and Cape Town, South Africa, the historical miniseries jumps back and forth between modern and medieval France as it follows the lives of two women who are separated by centuries, but united in their search for the Holy Grail. Lily Collins is in negotiations to star in How to Be Single , New Line’s romantic comedy being directed by Christian Ditter. Drew Barrymore is producing the romantic comedy. If a deal goes through (there are scheduling issues), the movie would reteam Collins with the director of Love, Rosie, a recently wrapped romantic drama that also stars Sam Claflin and Christian Cooke. Single is based on the novel of the same name by Liz Tuccillo, published by Atria in 2008. It is said to be in the vein of New Line’s successful multistory pics such as He’s Just Not That Into You and Valentine’s Day . Single explores the loves lives and breakups of a group of New Yorkers over the course of 10 years. Marc Silverstein and Abby Kohn wrote the adaptation. Luke Bracey has been tapped to star opposite Gerard Butler in Alcon’s remake of Point Break . Bracey will tackle the character of hotshot FBI agent Johnny Utah against Butler’s Bodhi, roles that were seminal to a generation that watched the early 1990s action movie. Bracey is playing the role originated by Keanu Reeves. Ericson Core is directing the movie which has a script by Kurt Wimmer. Broderick Johnson and Andrew Kosove are producing along with Michael DeLuca, John Baldecchi, Chris Taylor and Wimmer. A summer shoot is being planned. Bracey is a relative unknown Stateside, although he did play the Cobra Commander in G.I. Joe: Retaliation. He will also be seen in the upcoming Nicholas Sparks adaptation Best of Me. Syfy is canceling Being Human after the fourth season. The NBCUniversal-owned cable network made the official announcement Tuesday, midway through its current 13-episode run. The stars of Being Human,  Sam Huntington, Sam Witwer, Meaghan Rath  and  Kristen Hager , issued a thank you to the fans via a two-minute video "Showrunner Anna Fricke and the talented producers, writers, cast and crew have done an amazing job bringing this show to life over the past four seasons and we sincerely thank them and the series’ production company Muse Entertainment for their hard work," Syfy said in a statement announcing the cancellation. "They’ve saved the best for last with the final six episodes that revisit the story’s beginning, leading to a not-to-be-missed send-off for Aidan, Sally, Josh and Nora." And we do mean massive; comparing this version to the Transamerica Pyramid there in the foreground, which is 850ft. / 260m tall, would suggest ginormity. For comparison, last summer's Pacific Rim kaiju topped out at 181m long, and the Godzilla here seems to be roughly twice as big.
