Elizabeth Banks is set to make her directing debut in the upcoming Pitch Perfect sequel, EW has confirmed. “Elizabeth originated the idea for Pitch Perfect and was instrumental in making the first film such a huge success,” said Universal Pictures chairman Donna Langley in a release. “She brings an enormous amount of energy and experience to everything she works on and we’re thrilled that she is making her feature directorial debut on Pitch Perfect 2 .” Banks, who co-starred and produced the original, will continue with those roles as well in the sequel to the hit 2012 musical comedy. Although no casting announcements have been announced, The Hollywood Reporter quotes insiders saying that Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson are likely to return. That isn’t stopping the Mouse House from taking advantage of the big Grammy Awards audience to debut a new TV spot featuring Lana Del Rey crooning a slow tempo take on Once Upon A Dream. This story sees Jolie's Maleficent grow up in an idyllic forest, only to see it ravaged by an invading army and be betrayed by those closest to her, which poisons her heart. Out for revenge, she curses the baby daughter of the invading king – but as the child grows up (into Elle Fanning ), she realises that the youngster may be the key to peace between the kingdoms. Focus features has released the first official artwork for their feature film adaptation of the erotic bestseller Fifty Shades of Grey . The teaser will also soon be posted as billboards in five outdoor locations, starting what the studio calls their yearlong countdown to Valentine’s Day 2015 when the movie opens wide. Focus Features says American fans should keep an eye out in the following cities for the Fifty Shades billboards: New York (Grand Street & 6th Ave); Los Angeles (Wilshire Blvd. & Gayley); Chicago (LaSalle & Hubbard); San Francisco (Mission St. & 6th); and Seattle (1st & Wall St.).
