Defiance: Season One Blu-ray Review.

Defiance: Season One Blu-ray Review By: MattInRC Here's why SyFy's Defiance won't be the next Battlestar Galactica . As a person who grew up during the syndicated run of Star Trek: TOS , the theatrical run of Alien and Blade Runner , and the premiere run of Babylon 5 , I'm used to Science Fiction that does more than kill hundreds of alien creatures ala Starship Troopers . I loved SyFy's Stargate Atlantis , but was saddened to see its untimely cancellation in 2009. What we didn't know at the time was that the network was going through major changes in its financial plan, happier to throw slop up on the wall than commit itself to quality television. And while Battlestar Galactica was a stunning success for the network, its accidental popularity never translated to a change in course for a network known more these days for Sharknado . The recent release of Defiance sadly demonstrates that SyFy's priorities are still unchanged. The Movie - 3/5 It

JACKASS PRESENTS: BAD GRANDPA Review. Nothing Short Of Clever

JACKASS PRESENTS: BAD GRANDPA Review By: RAMA Once again RAMA comes through with another great review. Make sure to follow him on Twitter and LIKE his Facebook Page. It’s not as hysterical as I expected it to be but JACKASS PRESENTS: BAD GRANDPA has its great hilarious moments and I for one who’s a big fan of JACKASS franchise, am glad to see Johnny Knoxville’s character, Irving Zisman got himself a big screen treatment. Might as well make a movie about him, I mean it’s not like Knoxville gets bombarded with other movie offers. 86 year-old Irving Zisman is on a journey across America with the most unlikely companion, his 8 year-old Grandson Billy in “Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa.” This October, the signature Jackass character Irving Zisman ( Johnny Knoxville ) and Billy ( Jackson Nicoll ) will take movie audiences along for the most insane hidden camera road trip ever captured on camera. Along the way Irving will introduce the young and impressionable Billy to p

Aaron Taylor-Johnson Confirmed To Play Quicksilver

Despite the fact that everyone's been assuming that Aaron Taylor-Johnson was confirmed as Quicksilver for The Avengers: Age Of Ultron , in reality, it has taken months for him – or his representatives, at least – to make a deal with Marvel. The ink is now dry, however, and he is confirmed for Joss Whedon’s superhero sequel. The actor’s name first surfaced in June, when he was reported as Marvel’s first choice for the role back in the days when we didn’t even know what the film would be called beyond “Avengers 2”… According to The Wrap, the big sticking point for officially coming aboard was his promotional commitments to Godzilla. But diaries have now been consulted, schedules juggled and compromises made so that he can both hit the road on a press tour and suit up as Pietro Maximoff, brother to Wanda, AKA Scarlet Witch (you can get an introduction to them both right here). While her own casting hasn’t been officially confirmed, word comes (via Samuel L. Jackson!) that Eliza

Entourage Movie Is A Go

After contentious negotiations had some of the actors snipping on the Internet, it looks like the Entourage movie may finally be ready to go. “It’s a go. Love you all,” tweeted the show's creator and screenwriter, Doug Ellin, alongside a photo of the cast. Sources are saying that the holdouts in the dealmaking process – namely Adrian Grenier, Jesse Ferrara, Kevin Dillon, Kevin Connolly -- are on the verge of signing on. Studio sources say the deals are still not closed but all the camps are confident. Connolly's and Dillon’s deals are in the final stages, according to insiders. The development comes on the heels of Ferrara's Monday appearance on The Wendy Williams Show to promote his new movie, Last Vegas, where the actor said the Entourage movie is "looking real good" and a deal for it "could be closed today." What is interesting is that the actor, who was the most contentious to placate, according to sources, was the one who had his deal
