Even though Jor-El’s presence in the film is traditionally limited – he might be one of the sources of advice to son Kal-El ( Henry Cavill ), but he perishes along with the rest of planet Krypton early in the story – Crowe’s star power is being used to help boost the film. Which, along with the character’s iconic status, explains why he gets his own image here along with the others. Man Of Steel finds young Kal-El growing up on Earth, raised by the kindly Jonathan ( Kevin Costner ) and Martha Kent ( Diane Lane ). First Image Of Jennifer Lawrence As Mystique In X-Men: Days Of Future

Unofficial on-set X-Men: Days Of Future Past photographer Bryan Singer has struck again. This time, he’s caught First Class veteran Jennifer Lawrence being made up as Mystique in a behind the scenes shot. Singer’s remark about Mystique being vengeful implies that despite the other crises hitting the mutants, she’ll still be carrying an angry torch against our heroes since she decided to join Magneto ( Michael Fassbender )’s side at the end of First Class. And she’s definitely back in figure-hugging body paint and bright orange hair, though of course we know she’ll probably end up impersonating one or two other people along the way. Lawrence is joined by the crammed grab-bag of actors from both First Class and the original X-trilogy including Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Halle Berry, Shawn Ashmore, Ellen Page, James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult, Anna Paquin plus new arrivals Peter Dinklage, Omar Sy and Fan Bingbing . Days Of Future Past is shooting now Please L

Chris Evans To Star In Ten O’Clock People

Last July, it appeared that Stephen King’s story The Ten O’Clock People might finally be torn from the pages of the Nightmares And Dreamscapes collection, with news that Fright Night's Tom Holland was setting up an adaptation and had secured Justin Long to star. After some time lingering in development, Long is out thanks to scheduling issues, but Holland is aiming to line up Chris Evans to star instead. If he does make a deal, Evans will play Brandon Pearson, a man attempting to give up smoking, only to find that the resulting chemical imbalance causes some interesting side effects. Thanks to his nicotine-craving brain and now-limited smoking habit, Brandon is somehow able to see certain people for who they really are, They Live-style. He discovers to his horror that some in positions of power (including his own boss) aren’t human at all, but are creatures called “batmen” who are slowly taking over the planet. Encouraged to join a group looking to stop them, his paranoia

Help is at hand in the shape of a new TV show called Star Wars Rebels , which will explore the time period between Revenge Of The Sith and A New Hope. The animated show is due to premiere next year with a one-hour special on the Disney channel, followed by a regular slot on Disney XD. So no, it's not the long-discussed live-action series, but this will still explore a new facet of the Star Wars universe. We're told that, " Star Wars Rebels takes place in a time where the Empire is securing its grip on the galaxy and hunting down the last of the Jedi Knights as a fledgling rebellion against the Empire is taking shape. " Beyond that, no one is talking just yet. Still, the creative team behind the show is promising. As well as Clone Wars veteran Dave Filoni and animation stalwart Greg Weisman (Gargoyles, Young Justice), Simon Kinberg is one of the executive producers. It was revealed months ago that Kinberg,
