It's finally here Oblivion Starring my man crush Tom Cruise . Oblivion, directed by Tron Legacy’s J oseph Kosinski , takes place in a world where Earth has been badly damaged by decades of war with an alien race known as the Scavs. Most of the population lives above the planet, but Cruise’s Jack Harper is a drone repairman, stationed on the Earth to keep the robo-guardians of the place active against enemy incursion. In its bid for the largely untapped metrosexual viewership, NBCUniversal is set to rebrand G4 channel as the Esquire channel . Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that the NBCUniversal-owned cable network has closed a deal with Esquire parent Hearst Corporation to shift the former gaming network to a destination more in line with the modern male. The effort is designed to capture a growing, upscale demographic that isn't being reached through other male networks, including adrenaline-heavy Spike and History. Jackson is game to return to the flick as Mace Windu as well.  In spite of his busy schedule (he already has three films in production), the Avengers actor told us he was "excited" that more Star Wars films were on the way and would love to be a part of them. "I'm not surprised but totally geeked by the idea of there being more Star Wars," Jackson told E! News at the Spike TV Video Game Awards Friday. "It's like, okay, Obi-Wan was dead when episode four started, so maybe everyone thinks I'm dead and we'll find out what happened to Mace Windu. KILLING THEM SOFTLY Review By: RAMA So what did RAMA  think of KILLING THEM SOFTLY? Make way for writer/director Andrew Dominik because he’s crafted my favorite gangster film this year. KILLING THEM SOFTLY entertains us softly and surely. It speaks to us fans of Tarantino and Guy Ritchie’s crime comedies. Brad Pitt is perfect as hitman Jackie Cogan who doesn’t understand how some people do things, who doesn’t understand why his hitman friend becomes unreliable, but Cogan gets the job done… Based on George V. THE COLLECTION Review By: RAMA Let's see if RAMA thought this film held up to the first film. I was a huge fan of the first film, The Collector , and this sequel doesn’t disappoint at all. Sure it’s a torture porn franchise, from the guys who directed many of those SAW movies, even the editor of THE COLLECTION directed SAW VI, but THE COLLECTION is just gory fun, it’s unflinchingly brutal and plain gnarly.
