BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Frank Grillo Could Be Crossbones In Winter Solider?

One of the nicest interviews and coolest guy I have met so far might be getting into the super hero film business. Though this remains one for the Rumor Files until the final decision is made, The Grey ’s Frank Grillo has hit Twitter to drop a hint that he has tested for a role in a Marvel film. He followed that up with one about Marvel fans with #bones and then radio host / comedian Matthew Aaron Show added fuel to the fire, saying that Grillo is close to scoring the role of Crossbones , one of the villains in Captain America: The Winter Soldier . You might not recognize the name but you are sure to know the face. He has starred in Edge of Darkness, Warrior, The Grey and End of Watch . With Joe and Anthony Russo set to start directing the movie in March, casting is naturally in full swing. Grillo certainly seems to fit the physical type for Crossbones , who is often seen in the comics as a henchman of Red Skull and has appeared in Cap’s titles in stories alongside Falco

COSMOPOLIS Review. Self-Indulgent Film

COSMOPOLIS Review By RAMA It's been awhile since we heard from RAMA , but he is back with another review. Wow! This is Robert Pattinson like you’ve never seen him before. I’ve never read the so-called prophetic novel, by author Don DeLillo, on which this movie is based, so I’m sure those of you who did, would be able to understand COSMOPOLIS a whole lot better than the rest of us who may scratch our heads afterwards thinking that nothing about this film makes any sense. I get the concept and the idea but is it necessary to be told in this manner, is still the burning the question. But we all know that it’s not a David Cronenberg film without raw sex and violence and a psychology that messes with your heads… Unfolding in a single cataclysmic day, the story follows Eric Packer ( Robert Pattinson ) – a 28-year old financial whiz kid and billionaire asset manager – as he heads out in his tricked-out stretch limo to get a haircut from his father’s old barber, while r

The Last Five Years For Anna Kendrick

Anna Kendrick is planning to put them to the test again for a new music-based romantic comedy drama. She’s locked in the lead of The Last Five Years . Richard LaGravenese, who is putting the finishing touches on Beautiful Creatures, is on board to adapt and direct the film based on Jason Robert Brown’s acclaimed stage version. But instead of being a simple relationship story, it has a little fun with the idea, showing aspiring actress Cathy (Kendrick)’s story in reverse chronological order at the end of a marriage and her husband’s running forwards from shortly after they meet. The two timelines don’t interact directly – on stage at least – except for a marriage song in the middle. So it could effectively have both a happy and sad ending… Please Leave A Comment-  Source- Empire Via Moviehole

Crooked Arrows DVD Review. Brandon Routh What Happened?

Crooked Arrows DVD review By: MattInRC While watching the feel-good Crooked Arrows , one can't help but ask: Can someone get former Superman Brandon Routh a Justice League...please?11 There was a time when Brandon Routh's star seemed as high as Superman could fly; but after one of the most disappointing films of 2006 tanked in front of critics and at the box office (more bad script than Routh's spot-on portrayal), Superman Returns signaled a slow descent for Routh that's been painful to watch. Saddled with projects that were truly beneath him, the former Man of Steel seems like a man out of place, as if the blame for Superman Returns was his alone to bear. Crooked Arrows is just another sad example of how far Routh has fallen, with a story that can't decide what it is. Apparently, the world of high school lacrosse is a high-stakes affair. This game that's part hockey, part football, part basketball is owned by a fictitious upstate New York team

When Will Horror Be Scary Again?

MattInRC is at it again with another great topic. As we edge closer to the end of a banner year for movie theater profits, we're reminded of one genre that didn't help. As 2012 enters its final two months, profits are up at most theater chains, and the overall dollars flowing into theaters is up again from 2011. So why does a genre like horror seem like a horse that's ready to be shot in the field? In short, we're feeling a little less scared these days: when we're not yawning through Paranormal Activity 4 , The Possession , and The Apparition , we're simply not paying attention during A Cabin in the Woods and House at the End of the Street . Even when a somewhat scary film like Sinister rolls into the house, performing well and entertaining in the process, we feel like Hollywood's glory gory days are clearly behind them. In fact, no horror film released in 2012 has cracked the top 20 in that category and it appears that none might. So what
