BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

LOOPER Review By: Ursula

LOOPER Movie Review  By: Ursula A well written, acted, and filmed movie has the capability of baiting you like a fish. It has the potential of then hooking, reeling in, and drop kicking you into a cold bucket left to bleed all over. I say this because I left the theater a half an hour ago (from viewing Looper ) and my heart is still in my throat. It left me feeling like I should just let out a good sob for all of mankind. Looper , written and directed by Rian Johnson, a science fiction time travel film, shows that humanity is frail, and the heart when jump started has the potential to cause ravenous behavior to hold on to that feeling of love. However, when men choose power over humanity it is because they have no hope in it. When they choose money over their best friend’s life, it is because no one has ever stuck around long enough to give a crap for them. This is the message behind Looper. We learn the value of humanity at a very young age. This fact is often overlooked. I

Skyfall Video Blog. Bond Goes Swimming

While we’ve already had what appears to be the final, definite confirmation from songstress Adele that she’s performing the Skyfall theme, there’s even more official Bond material out today, with the release of the latest video blog. Have a gander above. Based around the filming of what looks like a chilly fight scene (check out the ice chunks floating on the surface), the new blog visits Pinewood’s underwater stage, a 1.2 million-litre facility that is the world’s only permanently filled water pool used for shooting. Dave Shaw, Diving Co-ordinator and some of his team take us through the complicated, high-tech methods that Sam Mendes and Team Skyfall are using to capture the action. From the looks of it, working on clashes in the murky depths is a right old nightmare, especially when you can’t see much. Sooner Daniel Craig than us… But the results should be spectacular. Skyfall will land here on October 26.   Please Leave A Comment-  Source- Empire

CINDERELLA Review. Even Better On The Big Screen

Walt Disney's CINDERELLA Review  By: MattInRC  The Disney classic Cinderella gets a face-lift and shines as it prepares for its Blu-ray debut. We had a chance to attend a screening for the film on the big screen for one day only. It goes without saying that Cinderella represents one of Disney's greatest achievements. For a film that debuted in 1950, its timelessness is both awe-inspiring and a reminder that great films can touch generations long after its animators completed the final cut. At the time, Cinderella represented a huge financial risk for Disney, who had not experienced a hit since Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs. Its success was far from guaranteed, but instant public affection generated a hit and an instant classic. Over the years, Disney has done its best to preserve the film by releasing it on VHS and DVD; but time is the enemy of every film produced prior to the digital revolution, and not even Cinderella's fairy god mother could keep the ori

LOOPER Review. One Of The Most Inventive & Absorbing Films Of The Year

LOOPER Review   By: MattInRC  LOOPER is one of the most inventive and absorbing films of the year. And it's a Science Fiction film. Yay! The Science Fiction genre always seems to get slighted for one reason or another, the most common criticism of which is its fanciful and disconnected view from reality. The Oscars have not been kind either, relegating it to the technical achievement categories rather than desiring to place a ring on its finger. In reality, Science Fiction (which should not be confused with the action-heavy Sci-Fi genre) offers audiences the best of all worlds, due to its ability to weave drama, action, and comedy that is set on far-away planets. Star Wars brought us the best bad guy ever conceived in Darth Vader, pitting his oppressive Empire against a Rebellion determined to upend the Dark Sith. Even in the case of epics like Blade Runner , where the story is set in a futuristic Los Angeles, our Replicant robots demonstrated real human feelin
