BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

THE WATCH Movie Review By: MattInRC

THE WATCH Movie Review By: MattInRC Does the Ben Stiller/Vince Vaughn/Jonah Hill bro-fest THE WATCH inspire laughter or demands for your money back? THE WATCH  is the kind of film which mirrors the times in which we live: it's gross, raunchy, and even a bit degrading at points. Yes, I'm saying society has become dependent on these facets to get anyone's attention. Add any other adjective/adverb that Google will spit out if you wish to complete the experience. The problem has been that Hollywood hasn't consistently come up with truly funny raunch, giving us 3-4 terrible efforts for every Hangover or Ted . The transition to this new lower-brow form of entertainment has not been without its bumps. Luckily  THE WATCH  doesn't fall into the abyss of terrible mishaps; instead, it's a hilarious romp through the world of alien invasions, low sperm counts, male genitalia, and underage drinking. Ok, that doesn't sound as appealing as I write this, but f

Director Talks A Good Day To Die Hard

Empire got the chance to talk to John Moore who is the director of the upcoming fifth Die Hard movie, A Good Day To Die Hard. The plot of the fivequel - if you're comfortable using the term - sees Bruce Willis' John McClane facing off against angry Russian foes after his son, Jack (newcomer Jai Courtney), gets himself into some "serious international trouble" in Moscow. Many fans of the franchise will be concerned about the idea of another sequel, but Moore - who's previously directed Max Payne and the 2006 remake of The Omen - is aware of the anxious question mark hanging over the film. What's more, he's also keen to downplay idea that the fifth Die Hard could be a light-hearted romp - this is a Die Hard movie, pure and simple. In other words, no glib jokes then? No "How can the same shit happen to the same guy five times..." lines? "No, because that’s preposterous! I don’t know whether it’s post-financial crash or whatever, but

Cloud Atlas First 6 Minutes Is Live

You have seen the first image from Cloud Atlas starring Tom Hanks & Halle Berry , now we have the first 6 minutes of the film. Andy and Lana Wachowski (the Matrix trilogy) and Tom Tykwer (Run Lola Run) co-wrote and co-directed this adaptation of David Mitchell’s 2004 novel Cloud Atlas (out in theaters Oct. 26). As if that weren’t complicated enough, each cast member plays multiple roles in the film’s kaleidoscopic tale, which includes a sci-fi story of a man ( Tom Hanks ) who meets an emissary from an advanced civilization ( Halle Berry ), and a darkly comic yarn about a composer ( Jim Broadbent ) and his apprentice ( Ben Whishaw ). “We thought about these individual characters as aspects of larger characters,” Lana Wachowski says. “Their lives are interwoven over one big story that takes place over a thousand years.” Please Leave A Comment-

The Hobbit To Be Made Into A Trilogy?

Peter Jackson is looking to return to Middle Earth yet again. Sources close to the production of The Hobbit say the filmmaker has concluded that he wants to turn his upcoming two-film adaptation of the J.R.R. Tolkien epic into a trilogy. That would require additional shooting that sources say could take place next summer for about two months in New Zealand. Jackson teased the idea at Comic-Con on July 14 , telling fans that he wants to shoot more footage. But since then, sources say that studio Warner Bros., Jackson, producer Fran Walsh and writer-producer Philippa Boyens began exploring the logistics of what it would take to make another movie. Those talks are said to have accelerated in recent days, with the studio on board if the right financial arrangements can be achieved. That includes securing new actor deals for the expansive cast as well as shoring up certain rights associated with the property (The Hobbit has a long a tortured rights history.) “If we’re going to do it
