Marvel Studios is targeting Zachary Levi to join the cast of Thor 2 . He would replace Josh Dallas in the film. Dallas played Fandral, one of the Warriors Three in Thor, but is bowing out of the sequel to the 2011 hit movie due to his commitments to the ABC show Once Upon a Time . Thor 2 Villains. 8 Guess Who It Will Be- Levi’s involvement may blessed by the gods, however. Stephen King's "IT" Coming To Big Screen's

Warner Bros’ adaptation of the classic Stephen King novel It has a director and writer. Cary Fukunaga , the hot-shot filmmaker behind last year’s adaptation of Jane Eyre , is boarding the project as director and will co-write the script with Chase Palmer, who previously adapted Frank Herbert’s Dune for Paramount. Roy Lee and Dan Lin are producing It, as are Seth Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg of KatzSmith Production. A best-selling book when it was published in1986, It, like The Stand, is one of King’s biggest and most dense tomes, and the plan is for Fukunaga and Palmer to adapt the work into two films. The story follows a group of kids called the Losers Club that encounter a creature called It, which preys on children and whose favorite form is that of a sadistic clown called Pennywise. When the creature resurfaces, the kids are called upon to regroup again, this time as adults, even though they have no memory of the first battle. The book was previously adapted in 19

MADAGASCAR 3 Movie Review By: RAMA

MADAGASCAR 3 Movie Review By: RAMA Did MADAGASCAR 3 cause RAMA to move it? It’s kinda tough getting into this film when you’re feeling indifferent about the previous installments, but MADAGASCAR 3 has enough punch lines and jokes to make up for the weak story. And just like its predecessors, this too moves ridiculously fast, each scene comes and goes like a speeding bullet, MADAGASCAR franchise is made for those with either short attention span or ADHD condition.. Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Gloria the Hippo, and Melman the Giraffe are still fighting to get home to their beloved Big Apple and of course, King Julien, Maurice and the Penguins are all along for the comedic adventure. Their journey takes them through Europe where they find the perfect cover: a traveling circus, which they reinvent – Madagascar style. The last time we saw Alex, Marty, gloria, and Melman, they were in Africa and the story was mostly about Alex reconnecting with his dad and his lion heritage.

TVGuide.com  has the exclusive first look at The Governor, who also becomes one of Rick's ( Andrew Lincoln ) greatest foes in the comic series. Moonrise Kingdom Movie Review One Of The Best Films Of The Year

Moonrise Kingdom Movie Review By: Matt C Moonrise Kingdom is uniquely quirky, captivating, and one of best the films of the year. The central theme to Moonrise Kingdom is the danger inherent in labeling certain elements of society as strange or even dangerous without looking a little deeper. Yet the film is so much more than a simple soapbox statement: it's genuinely funny, incredibly honest about itself, existing in a world that feels both familiar and a little off center, much like its main characters. Set among the pine and maple trees on a fictitious 1965 New England island called New Penzance, two children ( Kara Hayward and Jared Gilman ) decide to run away, rejecting the small-town labels they've been given, and touching off a manhunt by the police and local scout master. The journey is the truly funny part, immersing the audience in a perfect mixture of droll humor and slapstick, starting with our Narrator ( Bob Balaban , 2010) as he lists off the nature of the i

Sequel To Snow White And The Huntsman Being Written

Studios are relying heavily on sequels this summer, but the toughest thing to do is to introduce something new that launches a franchise. It looks like Universal has done that with Snow White And The Huntsman . I’m told that the studio is making all the moves that indicate another chapter is in the offing, and on a fast track. SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN Review By: Matt C Universal commenced David Koepp to write the sequel script, which Deadline revealed in late April might happen. The studio is now talking with director Rupert Sanders about a return, after he made his feature directing debut on the first installment. Sanders is interested; he had a great time making the first movie. But unlike most first time directors, he doesn’t have to come back. That’s because Snow White And The Huntsman was sold in an auction by CAA that included a presentation by Sanders of how he was going to shoot the film. Sanders was part of the package, as was producer Joe Roth, and that gave the agen

Lego The Movie Has Found It's Directors

Empire recently spoke to Phil Lord and Chris Miller , the directorial double act behind Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs and 21 Jump Street , about the latter's upcoming home release. And naturally their possible adaptation of the much-loved novel Carter Beats The Devil came up pretty swiftly... as did their work on Lego The Movie . Talking about Carter Beats The Devil , Lord was keen to point out that "it’s very early. There’s a good script: we’ve read a lot of material since Jump Street, and this was the first thing that felt intriguing, and so we’re literally just starting to talk about it. We’re deep in the LEGO bunker right now, so when we come up for air in a couple of months’ time, we’ll get more serious talking about that could be." Then began the Lego discussion. And the good news for fans of the Danish plastic bricks is that their plans for turning building blocks into cinematic building blocks are rather encouraging. Where do you begin when you’re m
