Paula Patton is in talks to star with Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg in 2 Guns , a film that’s based on a Steven Grant graphic novel published by Boom! Studios. Baltasar Kormakur, who just directed Wahlberg in the remake of his film Contraband , is helming. The script was written by Blake Masters. Emmett/Furla Films is co-financing, and Universal will distribute domestically. Marc Platt is producing along with Boom!’s Andrew Cosby and Ross Richie, and Randall Emmett and George Furla. Patton is coming off the female lead in Mission: Impossible–Ghost Protocol, the Brad Bird-directed hit. In 2 Guns, Patton will play Washington’s love interest, I’m told. Finally the trailer for LOOPER has arrived.  LOOPER  is an upcoming American science-fiction film directed by Rian Johnson with a time travel plot. The film stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis , and Emily Blunt . Time travel will be invented, but it will be illegal and only available on the black market. When the mob wants to get rid of someone, they send their target 30 years into the past, where a “looper”—a hired gun, like Joe ( Joseph Gordon-Levitt )—is waiting to mop up. The Will Ferrell-Mark Wahlberg football comedy 3 Mississippi has nabbed a director-writer team to the bring the project into the end zone. The team of Sean Anders and John Morris is in negotiations to rewrite the Warner Bros. project known as Turkey Bowl . Anders will direct. Set up in May 2011, it tells of the feud between two families over an annual Thanksgiving touch football game that has existed for 50 years. Ferrell and Wahlberg , who teamed up for box-office success with 2010's The Other Guys , are attached to play the heads of the opposing households. The boarding of the duo gives a jolt to the project, with the studio now hoping to start production in September. Ferrell is producing with his Gary Sanchez Productions partner Adam McKay and Chris Henchy. Yahoo got their hands on the first teaser poster for The Weinstein Company's " Django Unchained ", the next film from director Quentin Tarantino starring Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell and Leonardo DiCaprio . Django Unchained will be out on January 18 next year. Empire got theirs hands on an Exclusive trailer for Red Lights . Red Lights is a 2012 Spanish-American thriller film written and directed by Rodrigo Cortés and starring Robert De Niro, Sigourney Weaver, Elizabeth Olsen, Cillian Murphy, Toby Jones and Leonardo Sbaraglia . The plot, as this trailer makes clear, sees Sigourney Weaver and Murphy's characters working together to debunk fake psychics, mediums and faith healers. They target De Niro's Simon Silver - which, we're guessing, turns out to be a Bad Idea. Gemma Arterton is in negotiations to star in The Wright Girls , a dark comedy-thriller from Relativity and Atlas Entertainment. Andy Fickman is in negotiations to direct. Inspired by the Japanese movie 2LDK, the story revolves around two young actresses who live together, pretend to be best friends and are co-stars on a successful television show. In reality, they detest each other and go to extreme and violent lengths to do one another in when they end up competing for the same movie role. The role of the other actress has not been cast. There were some online rumblings several months ago that Megan Fox was attached, but sources say the actress is not involved with the project. British actress Arterton is perhaps best known for her work in Clash of the Titans and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time .
