BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Colin Farrell In Talks For Arthur & Lancelot

Is Warner Bros. bringing Arthur & Lancelot back to life? After scrapping the project, which was to have been directed by David Dobkin, earlier this year, Warners is in talks with Colin Farrell to potentially star in a revived version as Lancelot. Last year, the studio cast Kit Harrington and Joel Kinnaman as the respective title characters in what was to have been a lighthearted action pic, similar in tone to Warners' successful Sherlock Holmes franchise. But in January the studio hit the brakes on the project, mainly due to budgetary concerns. Also factoring in was that neither of the actors had sufficient star clout to carry something of this nature. It looked like the studio was going to focus on other King Arthur projects in its drawer (both Guy Ritchie and Bryan Singer have projects in development) but Dobkin and the producers, Charles Roven and Richard Suckle of Atlas Entertainment, kept the fires quietly burning. Talks with Ferrell are at a very early stag

Did Time Run Out For 24 Movie

With studios getting ever tougher on production budgets, the film version of 24 appears all but scrubbed. Two weeks ago, 20th Century Fox proposed a budget of $30 million for the feature, which would have Kiefer Sutherland return to the role of Jack Bauer for the first time since the long-running Fox television series ended in May 2010. Turning TV shows into bigscreen properties can be tricky and Fox wanted to protect its interests. Imagine Entertainment, which produced the TV series for 20th Television and is behind the movie, wanted to spend more in the range of $50 million to $60 million. Fox had proposed paying Sutherland and Fuqua $2 million each in exchange for a generous backend. Sutherland's camp wanted in the $3 million range. It's always possible there could be a compromise, with both sides stressing that the numbers weren't set in stone. At the same, the growing consensus is that the project is close to be shelved, and that any compromise needed to have hap

21 JUMP STREET Movie Review By: RAMA

21 JUMP STREET Movie Review By: RAMA So how did RAMA think this movie compared to the T.V. show? Make sure to follow him on Facebook and Twitter . I had my doubts about this, because I grew up watching the original series and so the idea for the movie version to go raunchy comedy instead of serious drama, was a bit off-putting at first. But 21 JUMP STREET proves me wrong. Jonah Hill and screenwriter Michael Bacall’s sense of humor targets those of us who loved Superbad. And Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller clearly were having a blast with the drug jokes, teen party, and the F-bombs and other juvenile mishaps, the movie is filled with one relevant pop culture reference after another. 21 JUMP STREET may not be consistently funny but it has all the elements of an exciting buddy cop comedy. And the surprise cameos by some of the notable faces from the original series, ( SPOILER ALERT !) Holly Robinson Pete, Peter DeLouise, and Johnny Depp mak

CASA DE MI PADRE Movie Review By:RAMA

CASA DE MI PADRE Movie Review By:RAMA How did RAMA feel about Will Ferrell's new movie? Make sure to follow him on Facebook and Twitter . What CASA DE MI PADRE couldn’t fully deliver in comedy, it makes up for it in the concept, the style, and Will Ferrell’s unbelievable dedication to his Spanish speaking role. Ferrell hasn’t been funny in a long time in my opinion, since Anchorman, but seeing him in this different light gives some kind of new-found respect because even though his Spanish is very basic and very limited, it’s more than obvious that the man gives his all. Comedy-wise, CASA DE MI PADRE works well as a satire or a parody, it’s not necessarily laugh out loud but it’s certainly unique… Armando Alvarez (Will Ferrell) has lived and worked on his father’s ranch in Mexico his entire life. As the ranch faces financial strains, Armando’s younger brother Raul (Diego Luna) shows up with his new fiancee, Sonia (Genesis Rodriguez) and pledges to settle all his father’s de

New Character Posters For The Avengers

Over in America, they're still calling Marvel Avengers Assemble by its original title, The Avengers , which means that their new posters say just that: "The Avengers". This also means there's more space for Cap to get up close and personal with the poster viewer, and even a little room for Black Widow to show off just how well her hair conditioner is working these days. Nick Fury also gets in on the action, taking pride of place in his own one-sheet, pointing at gun at someone or something no doubt very, very evil. See all the posters after the Jump... Just beside Nick appears series newbie Maria Hill - played by How I Met Your Mother's Cobie Smulders - a SHIELD agent who's, well, really rather lovely-looking. She also seems to be entirely nonplussed by Mr. Fury's leather-jacket-on-fire problem, but as he's her boss, she probably doesn't want to point out his fashion faux pas in public. Or at all, really. Anyway, enough of that. Take

First Image From Adam Sandler's Hotel Transylvania

Hotel Transylvania finds Dracula ( Sandler ) creating the titular getaway as a safe zone for his monstrous mates. Among the creatures enjoying some well-earned rest away from humans, flaming torches, silver bullets and garlic include Frank ( Kevin James ), invisible man Griffin ( David Spade ), werewolf Wayne ( Steve Buscemi ) and wife Wanda ( Molly Shannon ) and Murray the Mummy ( Cee Lo Green ). They’re also visiting to celebrate Drac’s daughter Mavis ( Selena Gomez ) turning 118. But their idyll is shattered when backpacker Johnny ( Andy Samberg ) stumbles on the place and ends up falling for the fetching Mavis. It’s up to her vampire dad to get the human out of the resort without worrying his guests. We’ll go ahead and guess it doesn’t go to plan. "It's refreshing to go back to the beginning of Dracula – and then have Adam Sandler put his spin on it," director Genndy Tartakovsky tells the paper. "There will be no sparkling skin. But there are a lot of jokes.

William Wallace From Braveheart Coming To The Small Screen

Scottish legend William Wallace -- portrayed by Mel Gibson in the feature Braveheart -- is getting the TV biopic treatment. Olivia Wilde Is Relanxious

Olivia Wilde, Jason Sudeikis, Brie Larson and Fred Armisen will star in Relanxious , a relationship comedy that marks the directorial debut of writer Christopher Storer. The film will be produced by Daniel Dubiecki, who recently launched The Allegiance Theater; and Lorene Scafaria, writer/director of the upcoming Seeking a Friend for the End of the World. Relanxious will shoot this summer in Chicago. Wilde plays Barrett, an anxiety-ridden woman who meets and is smitten with George. Played by Sudeikis , George is agoraphobic and so their courtship is limited to phone conversations in which they discuss the dates they would go on if their phobias didn’t stand in the way. As the fantasies develop, the two must decide if they can put aside their fears in order to find real-life romance. Larsen plays Barrett’s sister, and Armisen plays George’s friend and only contact with the outside world. Wilde recently wrapped the Steve Carell-Jim Carrey comedy Burt Wonderstone, while Saturday Night
