BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Joel Kinnaman Is Robocop

Updated:  Deadline reports that Kinnaman is now confirmed for the role. Even as we write this, MGM is paying a group of criminals to blast him to pieces, whereupon their best scientists will merge his head with a robot body (they're going the lose the arm) to become the future of law enforcement... While he burst on to the international scene playing a man caught up in crime in Daniel Espinosa’s Snabba Cash, Joel Kinnaman has been spending a lot of his time acting as a police detective in the US telly remake of The Killing. Now all that law enforcement experience might come in handy, because MGM has offered him the lead in the Robocop reboot. Elite Squad director Jose Padilha is aboard to call the shots and he’s been flipping through the usual go-to list looking for the right star to fill Alex Murphy’s metal helmet. There were brief, unsubstantiated rumours floating around about Russell Crowe, and Michael Fassbender was said to be in the running. But now Kinnaman, who l

The Unknown Soldier Schwarzenegger's Next Film

Our good friends over at TheArnoldFans are covering the Arnold Classic in Columbus, Ohio. They took part in the " Breakfast with Arnold " event held on Friday morning in Columbus, Ohio, and they were able to get a real big exclusive out of the returning on-screen action hero. I asked the Austrian Oak how he enjoyed being back on movie sets and to tell us about his next projects. Before today's breakfast, all of his fans were confused about Arnold signing on with Stallone and Jim Caviezel in The Tomb when we all thought he had an April 1st start date of Black Sands . But he drops the bomb about another film he will be working on called The Unknown Soldier  which will be directed by the Bandito Brothers. The team behind  Act of Valor. Arnold Schwarzenegger : "I had a terrific time after my work as governor to be asked as Stallone to be in Expendables 2 , so I flew to Bulgaria and worked there for a few days and it was fantastic! They had Van Damme in the movie and

Ralph McQuarrie Passes At The Age Of 82

It is with the deepest sadness that we announce the passing of Ralph McQuarrie . People say you should never meet your heroes. Ralph was the exception to that rule. We were all fans of his amazing art long before we were blessed with his friendship. But once you got to know Ralph it was impossible not to become a fan of Ralph the man. Ralph was a very special person for many more reasons than his undeniable brilliance with a brush. He was an especially kind, sensitive, deep, modest, funny and fascinating gentleman. And as fine a role model as any one could have wished for. His influence on design will be felt forever. There's no doubt in our hearts that centuries from now amazing spaceships will soar, future cities will rise and someone, somewhere will say... "that looks like something Ralph McQuarrie painted." Scarlett Johansson Is A Psycho

As Sacha Gervasi gears up to bring a chunk of cinematic history to life with Alfred Hitchcock And The Making Of Psycho , he’s locked down two stars to play the most iconic elements (besides Hitch himself) for the film-within-the-film: Scarlett Johansson will be Janet Leigh and James D’Arcy is playing Anthony Perkins. The Making Of Psycho chronicles the legendary director’s struggle to get the horror classic made at a time when the thriller / horror genre was frowned upon and he was ridiculed for even trying the idea. John McLaughlin, Tom Thayer and Stephen Rebello (who wrote the book the film is based on) have written the script and Anvil! director Gervasi already has Anthony Hopkins on board to play Hitchcock with Helen Mirren now confirmed as his wife, Alma Reville. This could end up as a My Week With Marilyn-style awards baiter, with Johansson potentially in line for glory. But that’s getting a little ahead of things: first she has to actually appear in the film. Assum
