BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Dwayne Johnson Could Be Hercules

We all know Dwayne Johnson keeps himself in shape. And that before every movie (yes, even Race To Witch Mountain), he tailors his workout regime to fit his latest gig. Currently he’s busy getting in bodybuilder shape (not much of a struggle, frankly) for Michael Bay’s Pain And Gain , but he may already be looking ahead to playing a Greek hero in Brett Ratner’s Hercules . The iconic muscled one has been something of an obsession of Ratner's for a while now. He considered one take on Hercules for a while (though it was later revealed he only read the script), but last year became attached to the adaptation of Steve Moore’s Radical Publishing comic title Hercules: The Thracian Wars. Moore’s story finds the Thracian king summon Herc and six battle-weary pals of his, and tasking them with getting his army into fighting shape. Lured by the promise of gold and glory, Hercules readily agrees, but soon comes to realise how far he’s fallen from grace and what he might need to do to find

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance Review by Brandon Wolfe

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance Review by Brandon Wolfe Look who's made a return it's out guest movie review Brandon. He is a simple man. Uncomplicated-simple, not dumb-simple, of course. Let's see how his review compared to Matt's review of the film. Mounting a sequel to 2007’s dismal and dull Ghost Rider seemed like one of the less arduous tasks in recent Hollywood history. If the bar had been set any lower, it would have been buried nine feet deep in the earth. Really, all any sequel would have had to accomplish to claim a minor victory would be to not be astoundingly terrible, and Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance pulls off this most meager of feats. Directed by Neveldine/Taylor , the junk-auteur duo responsible for the Crank films, Vengeance is a trashier, more low-rent affair. It strikes a less polished, more grindhouse-esque aesthetic than the original, which arguably better befits the schlocky material. However, it is still not what you’d call good. Tak

ACT OF VALOR Movie Review By: RAMA

ACT OF VALOR Movie Review By: RAMA Let's see what RAMA thought of ACT OF VALOR .  Make sure to follow him on F acebook and Twitter . Military or war movies ain’t nothing new in Hollywood but most of the depictions were inaccurate, the relationship stories and the style were too romanticized, and the overblown entertainment was put front and center, in place of self-sacrifice. We admired films like Black Hawk Down and Saving Private Ryan but finally, a movie that truly honors the troops, the finest action military war movie ever made has finally arrived in ACT OF VALOR . Starring six active duty Navy SEALs, so from the get-go, ACT OF VALOR intends on taking you to the heart of how it’s all done, because you’re not dealing with actors trying to be soldiers. Directing team Mike McCoy and Scott Waugh with screenwriter Kurt Johnstad have crafted a film that satisfies action fans and oddly enough video game fans as well and it’s also a film that reminds audiences everywhere of

Lily Collins Could Be "Rosaline" Romeo's Ex

There have been so many takes on William Shakespeare’s Romeo And Juliet that it would be easy to conclude that there are no new avenues to explore. That's a great disservice to our killer idea, retelling the story among silverback gorillas. More importantly, it would overlook Michael Sucsy’s planned take, Rosaline , which shows events from the point of view of Romeo's ex. Now Lily Collins is in talks to star. Michael H Weber and Scott Neustader adapted the script from Rebecca Serles’ novel (which, going back to studio tradition, has yet to hit the shelves). It sets the doomed love story in a modern day high school, and filters it through the titular young woman's eyes as she is courted and then spurned by Romeo. Deborah Ann Woll and Dave Franco are also still going through the negotiation motions to take two other roles, which we’d guess are Romeo and Juliet themselves. We’re also left wondering if the film will push through to the tragic finale... Sucsy has been t

New Wrath Of The Titans Trailer

The first trailer for myth-raiding sequel Wrath Of The Titans arrived back in December, but now a slightly longer destruct-o-fest has hit the magical interwebs. If you are righteous and brave, take a look below. Liam Neeson Interview Part 1 talks Wrath Of The Titans- This time around, we find Perseus ( Sam Worthington ) 10 years on from his adventures opposite giant beasties in Clash. Trying to live a normal but probably slightly smelly life as a fisherman, he’s summoned back into action when mighty Titan Kronos begins to break his troops out of imprisonment and threatens Zeus ( Liam Neeson ) and co. But because the Gods can’t deal with these pesky problems themselves, and because Hades ( Ralph Fiennes ) is stirring up yet more trouble, guess who has to step in? Jonathan Liebesman (Battle: Los Angeles) is behind the camera and, if the trailers are any indication, he and Warners have simply taken everything about the first movie and cranked it up a notch, including Worthington’s
