I had the chance to make my way out to Hollywood this weekend for my first real Hollywood junket for the film The Grey . I have been to junkets before but nothing on this scale. And let me tell you it was done right! I joined the round tables during the junket to interview the cast of the film. First up Frank Grillo and James Badge Dale joined us. Lionsgate announced today that tickets for the highly anticipated film THE HUNGER GAMES will go on advance sale on Wednesday, February 22nd, 2012 . Tom Hardy has spoken to the Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye about his upcoming role as Al Capone in Cicero . Hardy will play the infamous gangster after he has finished shooting Mad Max: FuryRoad . He told Bamigboye: "I’ve been working with Warner Bros, watching their gangster films — the ones with James Cagney, Humphrey Bogart and Edward G. Robinson," naming The Petrified Forest, The Public Enemy and Little Caesar as examples. "It’s interesting to get them, and a bit of Capone, into the bloodstream… The idea isn’t to remake those films but to get a flavour of them as we explore Capone’s career as a racketeer." On the status of the movie (which is set to be directed by Harry Potter's David Yates), Hardy added: "The idea at the moment is of doing a trilogy of films, but nothing is set. Tim Burton 's interest in tackling a live-action version of Pinocchio is heating up,  And Burton's choice to topline the movie is Robert Downey Jr . as Geppetto, the woodcarver who creates the puppet who dreams of becoming a real boy. The Pinocchio story was first published in an Italian children's book written by Carlo Collodi and has been adapted several times, including the 1940 animated Disney classic. In the version being developed at Warner Bros., Geppetto embarks on a quest to reunite with his missing marionette. The well-regarded script is by Pushing Daisies creator Bryan Fuller. Dan Jinks (American Beauty) is producing. Neither Burton nor Downey has a deal with Warners, but sources say Burton is keen to direct the film and has begun talks with the studio, so it's just a question of whether Pinocchio will be his next movie. A new photo from Universal’s Snow White and the Huntsman shows the evil queen, played by Charlize Theron , giving off a very deadly glare. In the new image, Theron can be seen wearing a striking, spiky crown, and a very royal looking metallic outfit. She sits atop her thrown, giving someone the evil eye. This is the same outfit that the queen wears in some of her most memorable scenes from the trailer, like when she holds a young girl by her throat and seems to suck the life right out of her. There’s no denying that Theron’s version of the evil queen is going to rule Universal’s film. In the first trailer , which premiered in November, her character not only narrates, but also screams like the best of villains, takes a milk bath and turns into a bunch of big, scary looking blackbirds. USAToday got their hands on the first image from the upcoming film The Bourne Legacy . With Tony Gilroy still busy getting film in the can, the first image of franchise spin-off The Bourne Legacy has hit the web. Check out the massively exciting blend of explosions, sexy weapons and a scowling Jeremy Renner. Okay, okay… So the picture’s not that revealing. And it doesn’t have any weapons or explosions. The serious-looking Renner’s present and correct, though, even if he does look much as he did in Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol. In fact, we’re still wondering if Universal simply cut and pasted him from one of that film’s publicity stills and put him up against a new background. Then again, this film also sees him as a kick-ass international agent. Legacy finds Renner as Aaron Cross, another CIA-trained operative from a programme even more nefarious than Bourne’s Treadstone. Disney has tapped Robert Stromberg to make his feature directorial debut on Maleficent , the Linda Woolverton-scripted revisionist take on the Sleeping Beauty fairy tale that is being constructed as a star vehicle for Angelina Jolie to play the villainess. While Stromberg is new to the director’s chair, he is no stranger to dealing with big-ticket spectacle films. He has been production designer on Avatar and Alice In Wonderland, and Disney’s upcoming Oz The Great And Powerful. He also worked on visual effects for such films as 2012, Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World’s End and Master And Commander. Joe Roth is producing. This gives Disney feature heads Sean Bailey and Rich Ross another tentpole feature to complement the Marvel product, with A-list talent.
