BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Game Of Thrones Alan Taylor To Direct Thor 2

The search for a Thor 2 director to replace Patty Jenkins has ended. Sources confirm to The Hollywood Reporter that Alan Taylor , best known for directing episodes of HBO's fantasy series Game Of Thrones , has nabbed the job. Jenkins (Monster) made headlines in early December when she departed the high-profile sequel to May's Thor. Both she and Marvel cited "creative differences" but THR's Kim Masters later revealed that Marvel abruptly dismissed Jenkins when the studio felt she was showing “a lack of overall clarity in her choices,” according to one source. Marvel was concerned that the filmmaking process would be “difficult” and that the planned release date might be hard to hit. The move to jettison Jenkins infuriated star Natalie Portman, who had been excited about Jenkins becoming the first woman to direct a major superhero tentpole film. A source speculated that Marvel executives might have been won over initially by Portman’s enthusiasm for Jenkins b

First Image From Steven Soderbergh's Magic Mike

The first official tease from Steven Soderbergh's upcoming stripper film also highlights co-stars Channing Tatum, Alex Pettyfer and Joe Manganiello . Director Steven Soderbergh explores the world of male strippers with Magic Mike , and ahead of the film's June 2012 release, Warner Bros. has unleashed the first still from the dramedy. Magic Mike stars Channing Tatum, Alex Pettyfer, Joe Manganiello and Matthew McConaughey are all accounted for in the photo, with the latter apparently dressed as a shirtless Uncle Sam. The rest of the actors, all of whom play strippers in the movie, are only showing off their arms for now. Magic Mike is inspired by Tatum's experiences working as a stripper before his acting career took off. But instead of the lead, Tatum plays the mentor to Pettyfer's character, a performer in the troupe. McConaughey plays Dallas, a former stripper who owns the club where the two perform -- though from the looks of the photo, he doesn't take

New Image From Disney/Pixar’s Brave

Walt Disney Studios has provided us with its annual film preview for 2012 and, taking our cue from Gaston from Beauty and the Beast 3D (how’s that for a segue?), we can only make sense of reading material by the pictures. That said, while most of the imagery found in the preview has already been released. First we have a shot of Merida from Disney/Pixar’s Brave , drawing back her bow at the archery competition designed to find her a proper suitor as others look on. Admittedly the resolution of this image is pretty harsh, so we hope to have a better one in the near future which we will add permanently to our gallery for the film. Brave is the grand adventure of Merida, a skilled archer who confronts tradition, destiny and the fiercest of beasts to discover the true meaning of courage. It opens in theaters nationwide on June 22, 2012. Please Leave A Comment- Source-StitchKingdom

WE BOUGHT A ZOO Movie Review By: RAMA

WE BOUGHT A ZOO Movie Review By: RAMA Would RAMA  buy this Zoo? Let's find out what he thought of the movie. Follow him on Facebook and Twitter . And the 2011 most feel-good movie goes to WE BOUGHT A ZOO . It’s one of the most heartwarming, delightful, pleasant family films you’ll see this Holiday season. It’s also an excellent grief-themed movie. Great ensemble cast, across the board. This is much lighter than what we usually expect from Cameron Crowe who brought us Jerry Maguire, Almost Famous, and Vanilla Sky , but after leaving us with the meditational Elizabethtown , which I didn’t enjoy very much, and then 6 years hiatus, WE BOUGHT A ZOO is a very sweet, very nice comeback, a breath of fresh air… This holiday season, acclaimed filmmaker Cameron Crowe (Jerry Maguire, Almost Famous) directs an amazing and true story about a single dad who decides his family needs a fresh start, so he and his two children move to the most unlikely of places: a zoo. With the help of an

Disney's Frozen Has A Release Date

It's been on ice at Disney for years, but it now seems that a thaw is approaching Uncle Walt's version of The Snow Queen , which has just scored a November 2013 release date, under the new moniker Frozen . That whole clever "thaw" line doesn't really work when paired with that title, but give us a break, eh? It's Christmas. The story, of course, is Hans Christian Andersen's and involves Kay, whose mind is twisted when his heart and eyes are pierced by shards of an evil troll mirror. He's then willingly abducted by the Snow Queen, who travels the world with the winter weather. Kay's playmate, neighbour and sweetheart Gerda however, still believes in him and sets out on an epic quest to retrieve him from the Snow Queen's palace. Animator Glen Keane (The Little Mermaid, Beauty And The Beast, Aladdin) was working on the project as early as a decade ago, but abandoned it in favour of Rapunzel, which emerged this year as Tangled. WAR HORSE Movie Review By: RAMA

WAR HORSE Movie Review  By: RAMA Did RAMA fall in love with a story about a boy and his horse? Make sure to follow him on Facebook and Twitter . Beautifully shot, yes! Wonderful story, absolutely! Plus it’s a war movie that you can take your family to, but,.. WAR HORSE is underwhelming, it gets lost in trying too hard to be a tearjerker so much so that I hardly feel its emotional power. You can definitely label WAR HORSE as the feel-good movie of the year, but it’s nothing short of formulaic… DreamWorks Pictures’ “ War Horse ,” director Steven Spielberg ’s epic adventure, is a tale of loyalty, hope and tenacity set against a sweeping canvas of rural England and Europe during the First World War. “War Horse” begins with the remarkable friendship between a horse named Joey and a young man called Albert, who tames and trains him. When they are forcefully parted, the film follows the extraordinary journey of the horse as he moves through the war, changing and inspiring the lives

David Yates Has Voice In My Head

Harry Potter director David Yates is attached to direct an adaptation of Emma Forrest’s Your Voice In My Head , which has been developed by Ruby Films. The project has been developed by Ruby Films with development funding from the BFI Film Fund. It is based on the memoir by UK writer Emma Forrest that explores breakdown and mania. Forrest has written the screenplay, which Alison Owen will produce. Warner Bros is part funding the film, set in New York, London and Istanbul. Yates says he is deliberately making a smaller-scale project in the wake of Harry Potter, having directed four films in the franchise. The final film, Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2 has made over $1.3bn worldwide. “It’s about a young woman who self harms and she visits this psychiatrist who helps her to learn to live again,” Yates said. “It’s got very heightened, odd moments in it that are slightly trippy.” “Emma is a extraordinary talent who is bringing a beautiful, contemporary young female

New Haywire Images Featuring Gina Carano

Anything Jason Bourne (or Aaron Cross) can do, Haywire 's Mallory can do just as well. Sure, she's picked the wet and windy rooftops of Dublin instead of the upstairs parts of Tangier - maybe she performs better in the wet, like one of those Formula One drivers who perform better in the wet - but otherwise she's matching Treadstone's finest in the running-and-shooting stakes. Empire got their hands on these new stills from Steven Soderbergh's actioner give another taste of what to expect. Expect substantial ass-kicking from Gina Carano's avenging angel, a tonne of action, many spent cartridges and lots of shady men muttering "we may have a problem" into their collars. Haywire is Soderbergh's first full-bore actioner to date. That leaves just a musical (HBO's Liberace?) and he's nailed the full-house of genres. Presumably there will be cake and presents when the moment comes. DIRECTOR: Steven Soderbergh WRITER: Lem Dobbs CAST:
