Hayley Atwell has been piped on board The Return Of Captain Nemo , a $10 million 3D sequel to 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea that hopes to start shooting January 16. David Morrissey , star of Brit TV’s Red Riding, is also attached to this Captain Nemo adventure, to be directed by Pearry Teo. Rapper Heavy D , a highly influential artist of the 1990s, died suddenly on Tuesday, Nov. 8. He was 44-years-old. Heavy D was on heavy rotation when I lived in Japan and this is a sad day in Hip Hop. TMZ reports that the rap legend, born Dwight Arrington Myers, was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital around noon. Details surrounding his death remain uncertain. Born May 24, 1967, the Jamaican American actor, rapper and record producer formed Heavy D & the Boyz and released their first album in 1987. The group was perhaps best known for singing the theme song for In Living Color, as well as their hit single " Now That We Found Love ." He most recently performed at the 2011 BET Awards, marking his first live show in 15 years.
