Little THOR Commercial

With THOR coming out in less then two weeks, Marvel and Paramount Pictures are reeving up the marketing campaign for the film. Little THOR is a spoof of Volkswagen's Superbowl Commercial featuring Little Vader, But this one has a surprise ending. Kate Beckinsale Offered Role Of Lori In Total Recall

Kate Beckinsale has been offered one of the female lead roles alongside Colin Farrell in the Sony Pictures remake Total Recall .  She's been offered to play Lori , who was portrayed in the 1990 Paul Verhoeven-directed actioner by Sharon Stone . In fact, that role really launched Stone's star after she transformed from the happy spouse of Douglas Quaid ( Arnold Schwarzenegger ) into someone completely different. Both that role and the role of Melina (played in the original by Rachel Ticotin) has drawn high interest from actresses. I've heard that Eva Mendes and Rosario Dawson are the serious contenders for the latter role. Beckinsale wasn't among the names most often mentioned among actresses who read for Lori. BBC AMERICA today announced it has signed a deal with NBC Universal Domestic TV Distribution to acquire 80 hours of the EmmyÒ and PeabodyÒ award-winning science-fiction series Battlestar Galactica . The deal includes a two part miniseries and seasons one to four. It will air in the channel’s Supernatural Saturday line up and premieres Saturday, June 18, 7:00pm ET/PT. Nanette Burstein will direct the romantic drama Unforgiving World for Focus Features. Nicole Holofcener has written the screenplay.
