Bradley Cooper starrer Limitless opened to a better-than-expected $19 million at the North American box office in a boost for Relativity Media’s new foray into domestic distribution. But business remained soft overall, with revenue down 10% from a year ago. The other new movies -- Lionsgate’s Matthew McConaughey legal thriller The Lincoln Lawyer and Universal’s sci-fi comedy Paul -- grossed $13.4 million and $13.2 million, respectively. Arnold Schwarzenegger will announce the first details of his new TV series at this year's MIPTV. Details of the project, which is being kept under wraps, will be revealed April 4 at a press conference at the Riviera-side Majestic Hotel. Reps for the former California Governor -- who recently announced he planned a return to movies -- said only that Schwarzenegger was involved in an "international TV series." Other stars in Cannes for the TV sales market that runs April 4 through 8 will include Eva Green, Joseph Fiennes and Jamie Campbell Bower, who are promoting Camelot, John Barrowman, promoting Torchwood and Oliver Hershbiegel, John Doman and Assumpta Serna, fronting The Borgias. It has been speculated so much that we just take it as fact at this point. But there has not been a solid confirmation that The Lizard is the main villain of The Amazing Spider-Man until right this very second. Actor C. Thomas Howell recently appeared on The Retroradio, and he confirmed that the Lizard will battle Peter Parker, and that his character's son is involved in the choas. Here is what C. Thomas Howell had to say about how his character plays a part in one of The Amazing Spider-Man's most important scenes. "There is not a whole lot to talk about. Sony wants us to be hush-hush right now. I play a relatively small role. Pulitzer Prize-winning author and scriptwriter Michael Chabon may get the keys to Disney’s Magic Kingdom . Kingdom is the studio’s family adventure project set in its flagship theme park (and maybe even connect to other parks worldwide) that is being directed by Jon Favreau . Ron Moore , who revived the recent Battlestar Galactica TV series, wrote the initial draft but a new direction, as well as a new writer, were sought when Favreau came on board. Chabon has a good chance at being that writer. Chabon and Favreau have talked about the project and a potential team-up on Kingdom. No offer has been made and obviously meetings with Disney execs would need to take place. Chabon already has an in with Disney.
