Sylvester Stallone Will Not Direct The Expendables 2

Fans of ' The Expendables " have been clamoring for a sequel since the final round of alter kocker gunfire went off last summer. Now it looks like they'll get their wish-- but without Sylvester Stallone behind the camera. The follow-up movie is a priority at producer Millennium Films, where it's being developed by Stallone, the creative force behind the original. But Stallone, who both starred in and directed the 2010 summer hit, isn't, at the moment, planning on helming the new movie. Instead, he's been meeting with directors to tackle the sequel, said a person who was briefed on the project but was not authorized to speak about it publicly. The script for the new movie has been written by David Agosto and Ken Kaufman, the latter of whom counts the Clint Eastwood adventure "Space Cowboys" and family comedy "Curious George" among his credits, said the source. (Stallone co-wrote the script for the original with David Callaham.) A sp

I Challenge You To Help The Red Cross For Japan's Earthquake And Pacific Tsunami Relief

Here are two paragraphs from this Yahoo news story : The quake was nearly 8,000 times stronger than one that struck New Zealand late last month, devastating the city of Christchurch. “The energy radiated by this quake is nearly equal to one month’s worth of energy consumption” in the United States, U.S. Geological Survey Scientist Brian Atwater told The Associated Press. All of the news and social networking outlets are flooded with information about the magnitude 8.9 earthquake in Japan. A significant part of my twitter community is involved in comic book, TV, entertainment websites and movie superheroes. It's almost too easy to imagine Superman, Green Lantern, and Wonder Woman racing to Japan to put out oil refinery fires, stabilize "at risk" nuclear reactors, and evacuate the thousands of injured victims. This tragedy hits home with me the most. My mother is 100% Japanese born and raised, and so am I . We have many family relatives living in Japan and as we spea

No Sequel For A-Team

The A-Team’s potential for a sequel was always in the balance – and now, from Bradley Cooper's very own mouth, it seems there definitely won’t be a follow-up. He was asked  “Any news on the A-Team 2? Will there be one? I thought it was great and my friends felt the same.” Bradley’s response: “I loved it too. But unfortunately, outside of you, a few of your friends and myself, there just wasn't enough revenue to supply a second instalment of that franchise.” This is a great shame in our opinion, as though The A-Team wasn’t a perfect movie, it was a big bag of fun. If you look at the numbers, the US haul clocked in at $77 million, and the rest of the world, $100 million. Its budget was $110, so there’s $67 million there to pay for all the marketing (and there was a lot). This just wasn’t enough for a mid-summer blockbuster – and maybe releasing it during the World Cup opening weekend wasn’t a great idea in hindsight. Please Leave A Comment- Source- Empire

Matthew McConaughey Joins The Dallas Buyer's Club

There are few movie projects in Hollywood that have had as as many big-name supporters -- and stops and starts -- as " The Dallas Buyer's Club ." A 1980s-set true story about a trafficker in illegal AIDS drugs, the drama has attracted some of the movie world's biggest names over the past decade. The movie tells of Ron Woodroof, a heterosexual Dallas electrician who was diagnosed with AIDS in 1986, during some of the darkest days of the disease. Doctors gave him just a few months to live, but he refused to accept their prognosis. Instead, Woodroof created a smuggling operation for alternative treatments, then illegal, and got them into the hands of as many AIDS patients as he could. He wound up living six more years and saved or prolonged the lives of countless others. Brad Pitt was interested in starring in it for years. Top-flight filmmaker Marc Forster had at one time been set to direct it. "Babel" scribe Guillermo Ariaga once wrote a draft of the s
