The fifth installment, again starring Milla Jovovich , will hit theaters on September 14, 2012. The last three were released in the franchise were all released in September as well. The fourth film, Resident Evil: Afterlife was released in 3D, 2D and IMAX 3D theaters on September 10, 2010 and earned $296.2 million at the worldwide box office. Paul W.S. We've seen still images , we've seen the toys , we've seen the test footage, but here's the first official trailer showing Lion-O and his merry band of Thunderans in action. And a couple of characters we weren't sure were going to make an appearance raise their snarfy heads. Yeah, that looks like Snarf, Prince Lion-O's annoying sidekick, as well as the Thunderkittens, WilyKit and WilyKat. But despite the potential for the same syrupy cloyingness they brought to the original animated series, it looks like the 2011 show has some other tricks up its sleeve. Namely, some pretty terrific animation. Watch the trailer after the Jump... Maybe it's the apparent scope of the world, but ThunderCats feels like it has something of an Avatar: The Last Airbender vibe. Which is a very, very good thing. See for yourself. LA Times is reporting that Fox 2000, the 20th Century Fox label behind the adventure franchise, is putting a follow-up project to the 2010 young-adult film in active development and could shoot it as early as this summer, according to a person who has been briefed on the project's status but was not authorized to speak publicly about it. The movie would be subtitled " The Sea of Monsters " and derive from the second book in Rick Riordan's five-book series. The studio has hired Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski -- who wrote "Ed Wood" and "Agent Cody Banks" -- to write a script for the new film, which they are currently doing. It looks like The Cape is done. After struggling in the ratings since it premiered, and NBC cutting the show's episode order from 13 to 10 episodes, the network has decided to run The Cape's final original episode only online sometime later this month . NBC had planned to air the last two episodes, nine and 10, of the comic-book-inspired series last Monday, after postponing the relaunch of The Event to March 7. However, the network decided instead to air an original Chuck in its normal timeslot and finish off The Cape's on-air run with episode nine, " Razor ." This decision certainly comes about due to the falling ratings The Cape has suffered since the series premiered. On Monday, the show could only manage 4.09 million viewers with 1.2 ratings for adults 18-40. That made it one of the lowest-rated network shows still on the air.
