Rachel Bilson has signed to star in the CW drama pilot Hart of Dixie.  The project reunites Bilson with Josh Schwartz; the two worked together on the Fox drama The O.C . before Schwartz went on to develop Gossip Girl for the CW. Rachel Bilson Returns To TV In CW's  Hart of Dixie Bilson will play a New York City doctor who relocates to a small southern town — filled with eccentric characters, of course — when she inherits a medical practice there. The fish-out-of-water drama is produced by Warner Bros. Television and Schwartz and Stephanie Savage’s Fake Empire shingle. Daniel Radcliffe is attached to star in the indie comedy " The Amateur Photographer ." Christopher Monger will direct from his own screenplay, based on his novel of the same name. The 1970-set tale follows a young man who discovers his artistic calling after being drafted by the denizens of a sleepy little New England mill town to serve as photographer of their most intimate moments. He battles local authorities while bringing a bit of a velvet revolution to the community. Ted Hope and Anne Carey will produce through their This Is That Prods. banner, while Karen Montgomery will also produce. Radcliffe recently starred in " Harry Potter and the Dealthy Hallows: Part 1 " and will soon be seen in "Part 2," which is set for release July 15. Kick-Ass and X-Men: First Class writer/director/producer Matthew Vaughn tells me that a major Hollywood studio is very keen to fully fund his next big project: The Golden Age about a retirement home where superheroes end up. And the title is also a reference to early comic books of the 1930s when Superman and Batman first appeared. It's based on the yet-to-be-published comic book written by Brit TV chat show host Jonathan Ross, who’s a huge comics buff. Vaughn is currently in LA editing X-Men: First Class for Fox, but tells me he wants to get actors attached to the new project before the script is written. His wish list is Clint Eastwood, Jack Nicholson, and Warren Beatty to play the retired superheroes who help out their grandchildren when their middle-aged parent screw up the world. Ray Liotta is the most recent actor to join the cast of the crime thriller Cogan's Trade . Brad Pitt, James Gandolfini, Javier Bardem, Sam Rockwell, Casey Affleck, Mark Ruffalo, Vincent Curatola and Richard Jenkins also star in writer-director Andrew Dominik's adaptation of the 1974 George V. Higgins novel. Pitt's Jackie Cogan is a professional enforcer who must investigate a heist that took place during a high-stakes poker game under protection of the mob. Liotta will play Mark "Markie" Trattman , the unfortunate hustler who runs the game in a motel room and finds things only going downhill from there.
