BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

"Lost" Josh Holloway To Star In Mission: Impossible 4

“Lost” star Josh Holloway To Join In On A  Mission “Lost” star Josh Holloway is joining the “ Mission: Impossible ” team. In his first major screen role since wrapping the ABC show, Holloway is in final negotiations to act as a member of the Impossible Mission Force, the secret agent task force headed by Tom Cruise in Paramount’s “ Mission: Impossible 4 .” Holloway boards the ever-growing Brad Bird-directed pic, whose cast, in addition to Cruise, already includes Jeremy Renner, Paula Patton and Vladimir Mashkov as well as franchise vets Ving Rhames and Simon Pegg . Story details are being kept in a self-destructable vault thus no information on Holloway’s character was available. J.J. Abrams , who is producing with Cruise and Paula Wagner, worked on the story with scribes Andre Nemec and Josh Appelbaum, who have written the screenplay. The production is scouting locations in Vancouver, Prague and Dubai for a fall shoot with an eye towards a December 2011 release. “ Im

Paul Haggis To Write The Equalizer

"The Equalizer" Has Found It's Screenwriter Fresh off their collaboration on “ The Next Three Days ,” Paul Haggis and Russell Crowe may be working together on a new project: “ The Equalizer .” Crowe has long been attached as a star and producer of the feature adaptation of the late-’80s TV series, and Haggis, who just directed Crowe in the upcoming Lionsgate thriller “Days,” is negotiating to take on the script. While the direction of the feature version is still being plotted, the original CBS series concerned the exploits of a former secret agent turned vigilante who could be hired to right wrongs. Edward Woodward originated the role of Robert McCall, who provided services for clients free of charge, on the condition they returned his help if he ever came calling. As opposed to the jokiness of the era's other shows such as “The A-Team,” “Magnum P.I.” and “Simon & Simon,” “The Equalizer” was remarkably grim. It also featured a notable theme song composed

Superman/Batman: Apocalypse DVD Review By: Jason Albrecht

Superman/Batman: Apocalypse DVD Review By: Jason Albrecht Picking up where Superman/Batman: Public Enemies (SB:PE) left off, SB:A is much more interesting then it’s predecessor SB:PE . Unlike in SB:PE, the heroes actually face forces that put them in peril. It’s fun! Lots of action! Some great choreographed fight scenes! Some kick down brawls that leave devastation in their wake!! The voice acting is almost spot on. The Trinity of DC heroes are voiced by veterans of the characters: Kevin Conroy reprises his role as the Dark Knight like he did so well throughout Batman The Animated Series (B:TAS) and Justice League incarnations. Tim Daly is back as Superman as he was during Superman the Animated Series (S:TAS). Susan Eisenberg is Wonder Woman as she was during Justice League and JLU! You also have Summer Glau as Kara/Supergirl and Ed Asner as Granny Goodness (which he nails every time he plays her!). Where they failed (and it really disappointed me) in the casting was Darkseid

"Let Me In" Movie Review By: SandwichJohn

"Let Me In" Movie Review By: SandwichJohn First off I have to thank Jen and Overture Films for inviting me to the press screening last Thursday. It was one hell of a drive from Sacramento to LA. but well worth the drive and time. Let Me In is a film that can stand on it own, a remake what? If I hadn't attend the panel for it during Comic-Con I would have never known this film was a remake until I had done some research on the movie. The film is based on the John Ajvide Lindqvist novel “Let the Right One In ” and the Swedish film adaptation of the same name. Let Me In tells a terrifying tale about an alienated 12-year old boy named Owen ( Smit-McPhee ) who is viciously bullied by his classmates and neglected by his divorcing parents. Achingly lonely, Owen spends his days plotting revenge on his middle school tormentors and his evenings spying on the other inhabitants of his apartment complex. His only friend is his new neighbor Abby ( Moretz ), an eerily self-posses

Natalie Portman Would Be Willing To Do A Professional Sequel

Portman Wants To Be A Cleaner Again Just three years after saying she had no interest in doing a sequel to her 1994 debut film The Professional —known internationally as Leon— Natalie Portman has changed her tune. But her willingness to return to the role that made her a young star is dependent on one condition. According to MTV, Portman says she'd come back for a sequel only if original director Luc Besson was behind the camera again. Besson, for his part, has actually written a sequel called Mathilda , which focuses on Portman's character, but has said he has no interest in directing. Portman says she has not even looked at the script for that very reason: "I have never read it because Luc won't direct it himself, and so I'm only interested if he (directs) ... I told him if he would do it himself, I would do it in two seconds. But he won't, so ... " Besson himself, the French filmmaker known for directing La Femme Nikita and The Fifth Element

The Flash Movie To Be Darker And Edgier

The Flash Movie To Be Darker And Edgier Earlier this month scribe Marc Guggenheim who worked on Green Lantern live action movie with fellow screenwriters Greg Berlanti and Michael Green, revealed that they’ve turned in the treatment for The Flash and they already started discussions on Green Lantern 2 . Greg Berlanti, whose new directorial Life As We Know It will hit theaters in a couple of weeks, we have heard that the three of them have started treatment for Green Lantern 2 and started working on the script for The Flash. We are working on the treatment for the second film actually, we just started working on that with the same guys who I did the original with ( Michael Green and Marc Guggenheim ). Those two guys are also writing a script based on a treatment we wrote for ‘The Flash,’ so that’s my involvement with DC right now is the script for ‘The Flash’ and the treatment for ‘GL2.’” “‘GL’ is always a bit lighter than that on earth but mixed with a twinge of the space opera
