Tommy Lee Jones Cast In Captain America Last month is was rumored that Tommy Lee Jones was up for a role in Marvel's Captain America: The First Avenger. This rumor has been confirmed to be true by actress Hayley Atwell who plays Steve Rodger's love interest Peggy Carter. Watch her let the cat out of the Bag at the 2:20 mark. It still isn't confirmed what role Jones will play in the Joe Johnston directed film, but we can speculate that he will take on the role of General Chester Phillips , the military officer who chose Steve Rogers for the super soldier program and who helped in his training soon after he took the serum. Knight And Day International Trailer Knight & Day is going to end up being the sleeper hit of the summer, but I have a feeling this movie is going to end up blowing peoples expectations away. I think the movie looks great! It looks like it has a great mix of action and comedy. And think what you will about Tom Cruise... he is my favorite actor in Hollywood and looks great in this movies. Knight and Day centers on a lonely woman ( Diaz ) whose seemingly harmless blind date suddenly turns her life upside-down when a super spy ( Cruise ) takes her on a violent worldwide journey to protect a powerful battery that holds the key to an infinite power source. Flash And Sherlock Holmes 2 Release Dates Warner Bros. has scheduled " Sherlock Holmes 2 " for a mid-December 2011 release and is getting close to giving the go-ahead for a movie about beloved DC Comics superhero " Flash ." The Dec. 16 release date next year for the "Sherlock" sequel was shown on a slide during a presentation here Thursday by Warner chairman and CEO Barry Meyer. As we reported back in Novememebr of 2009, there was a rumor floating around that Jeremy Renner would be playing Hawkeye in an upcoming Marvel Film. The last thing we heard about all this came from Renner himself in which he said, I haven't heard anything since I talked to them (marvel) three weeks ago. The last I knew is that they still have to find their director for 'The Avengers,' that's where he's really going to show up. They were just talking, 'Like maybe we should consider maybe hiring Hawkeye now' but there's no director on 'Avengers' so they don't really want to force-feed the director, 'Here's the whole cast.'
