Mickey Rourke Talks Genghis Khan Biopic

Mickey Rourke Talks Genghis Khan Biopic We got word that  Mickey Rourke will be starring in a Genghis Khan biopic, written and directed by "Apocalypse Now" writer John Milius. "It is [an epic movie]," Rourke said, "but because Milius is a really terrific writer, it's not your stereotypical blood and swords. It's almost done on a-- not quite a documentary historical background of the whole Mongol reign, but there's a lot of humor in it that you wouldn't expect." "I like the part where he has-- they use dogs in battle, these big dogs," the actor explained. "And then, on one particular battle, [Khan] didn't think they were going to be doing too good. So he said 'Leave the dogs behind.' I like that." Please Leave A Comment- Source- MTV

Schwarzenegger's Commando To Get Remade

Schwarzenegger's Commando To Get Remade  This film started the whole thing for me. My first real big crush on Alyssa Milano and this is part of the history of my website name. In the begining of the film Alyssa makes a sandwich for her father played by Arnold Schwarzenegger (The you don't want to know sandwich) and somehow (Rando)  turned into a part of my name for the website. Well one part... Deadline reports Fox is developing a remake of Commando, the 1985 shoot-first-ask-questions-later action movie which followed a retired elite special forces op whose daughter is kidnapped and threatened unless he gets on a plane and kills the rival of a nasty dictator. David Ayer, who wrote Training Day and directed Street Kings, is both writing and directing this. Ayer, a former Navy soldier himself, is putting a real-world spin on the original premise (oh come on, it was cheesy 80's action!) by making the protagonist less of a "meat head" and more skilled in covert

New Trailer For Splice If you haven't heard of this movie yet, you surely will. In the we get a good look at the cloned specimen. I am thinking that this movie is going to be a sleeper hit of the summer. How can you go wrong with a film executive produced by Guillermo Del Toro and starring Adrien Brody and Sarah Polley. After a bidding war with Apparition,The Weinstein Company, Newmarket Films, First Look Studios, and Samuel Goldwyn Films, Dark Castle Entertainment purchased the film in February 2010. The pharmaceutical company that funds their research, however, is more interested in exploiting their earlier triumphs

Warner Brothers Developing A Starman Film?

Warner Brothers Developing A Starman Film? According to Pajiba Warner Brothers is developing a movie about "Starman" in partnership with Lin Productions and DC Comics, is bringing Starman to the big screen. Starman is one of those DC properties that’s gone through several iterations in its 70-year history. He’s been a helmeted dude with a “gravity rod,” a blue-skinned alien with flying shoes (sort of), an alien mutant prince (also notable for being one of the few — possibly only — bisexual superheroes), a being of pure energy, and I believe a couple of others. The current incarnation of Starman is as a member of the Justice League from the future. Or something. In any event, according to an inside source, Warner Brother, in partnership with Lin Productions and DC Comics, is bringing Starman to the big screen. Which version is sort of unknown — he’ll wield a gravity rod, have energy powers, and likely be able to fly. One of the more recent Starman characters could also ma
