Tim Burton To Direct Lincoln Vampire Slayer Film

Tim Burton To Direct Lincoln Vampire Slayer Film We have learned that directors Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov have found another angle on the Lincoln story: Abe's lifelong mission to kill vampires. They'll produce with Jim Lemley a movie adaptation of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter , the Seth Grahame-Smith novel that Grand Central Publishing released today. Graham-Smith kicks off with the revelation that Lincoln’s mother was killed by a supernatural creature, which fueled his passion to crush vampires and their slave-owning helpers. The novel depicts the 16th U.S. president as an axe-throwing, highly trained vampire killer. The author is making a career of marrying classic tales with a genre bent, and this becomes his second film deal after Lionsgate and Natalie Portman signed on to adapt Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, which infuses a familiar Jane Austen tale with an attack of bloodthirsty zombies. David O. Russell is circling that project as director and Portman is prod

Wolverine 2 Script Is Done And Ready To Head To Japan

Wolverine 2 Script Is Done And Ready To Head To Japan I actually didn't hate the first film as much as a lot of fans of Wolverine. I mean of course there were holes in the movie that didn't follow the comic book but overall a descent movie in my opinion. And looks like the script for the second film is done and ready to go. At this time no director has been signed to the film. I am sure they will not have a problem finding someone. The script was based on Frank Miller and Chris Claremont Story cycle of the Wolverine story when he heads to my motherland looking for adventures in martial arts will be a love story featuring a Japanese actress, I am told. “It’s a beautiful story,” says a source, “and will be very different than the first film.” The script was written by Christopher McQuarrie of “X-Men” and “Valkyrie” fame. Space Invaders Making It's Way To The Big Screen

Space Invaders Making It's Way To The Big Screen I guess this really shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone with Missile Command set up at Fox and Asteroids at Universal. So it look like Warner Bros. wants to get their hand on the classic game Space Invaders. It looks like this film will becoming reality very soon, Warner Bros. is in negotiation to acquireTaito, the Japanese company that man the game. Once all those issues are taken care look like they are going to bring in some Hollywood heave weights.Mark Gordon, Jason Blum and Guymon Casady as producers. Space Invaders was of course the iconic game that helped start it all, a Japanese-created arcade title from 1978 that featured roving attacking ships raining vertical fire on the player's craft, which dodged and fired back. It later vaulted to prominence via the Atari 2600. There's a bit of a loop-closing thing happening, since the game itself was inspired (loosely) by sci-fi movies like "Star Wars." Sti
