Michael Bay Let's Use Know Transformers 3 Going To Moscow And Chicago

Michael Bay Let's Use Know Transformers 3 Going To Moscow And Chicago Well, it looks like Red Square and the Sears Tower are the next global landmarks facing swift and explosive destruction at the hands of Michael Bay and his enormous robot troops, with the news that Transformers 3 is set to film in Moscow and Chicago. The sequel, which is set for July 2011, starts shooting in May, with Megan Fox and Shia LaBeouf returning to play the hapless humans running away from rampaging robots(probably carrying a Macguffin) and Ehren Kruger writing the script (not joined this time by original screenwriters Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman). Bay has previously promised that this one will not go for more and bigger explosions, instead delving into the Transformers' mythos and becoming "darker". We'd still bet Grandma on there being a fair whack of destruction though, so remember that "fewer explosions" is relative. Please Leave A Comment- Source- empire Via MichaelB

Alyssa Milano And Christina Applegate Get A "Hall Pass"

Alyssa Milano And Christina Applegate Get A "Hall Pass" I have been a huge Alyssa Milano fan since I first laid eyes on her in the show Who's The Boss, to buying up all her music CD's while I lived in Japan. So anything that stars her I will be letting the world know about. Christina Applegate is the latest to join the Farrelly brothers comedy "Hall Pass," in production at New Line. Alyssa Milano, Larry Campbell and Vanessa Angel also have jumped aboard. The new cast members join Owen Wilson, Jason Sudeikis, Jenna Fischer, Amanda Bynes, Stephen Merchant, J.B. Smoove, Nicky Whelan and Derek Waters in the comedy, which began shooting Tuesday in Atlanta. The film centers on what happens when two husbands are given permission to go outside their marriages for guilt-free romantic liaisons for one week. Bobby and Peter Farrelly wrote the script with Pete Jones and Kevin Barnett and are producing with their Conundrum Entertainment partner Bradley Thomas. Please Le

Angelina Jolie Chooses "Gravity" Over Wanted 2

Angelina Jolie Chooses "Gravity" Over Wanted 2 Universal craved a sequel to Angelina Jolie’s assassination tango/loom tutorial Wanted. Unfortunately for the studio, Jolie is leaving them…wanting. We’ve just heard the actress has pulled out of the planned Timur Bekmambetov-directed sequel at Universal, and the studio has pulled the plug rather than recast the film. As for Jolie, we hear she is now intent on starring in Warner Bros.’ Gravity, a space thriller to be directed by Children of Men’s Alfonso Cuarón from a script he wrote with his 28-year-old son, Jonás. Like Wanted 2, Gravity had previously been set up at Universal, with Jolie set to star. But a few weeks ago, the studio put Gravity into turnaround, possibly because it’s such an artistically challenging project: Jolie would be alone on-screen for much of the movie, playing the sole surviving human member of a space mission, desperately trying to return home to Earth and her daughter. (In that way it’s reminiscent of

The Yellow Handkerchief Movie Review by Windy

The Yellow Handkerchief Movie Review by Windy Sandwichjohnfilms resident film reviewer got a private screening of the film, and make sure you check out her blog to see how her experience was for this event. “The Yellow Handkerchief”, loosely based on a short story by writer Pete Hamill, is the story of three lost souls who happen upon each other one average Louisiana day. Starring William Hurt, Maria Bello, Kristen Stewart and Eddie RedMayne, the film starts out with, quite fittingly, yellow-washed credits. The story centers around Brett Hanson (Hurt), a recent ex-convict, making his way back home. He meets Martine (Stewart) and Gordy (Redmayne) on a trip across the river. Through a stroke of bad (or good) luck, the three strangers are stranded together and slowly learn about each other’s histories and how they ended up in the present day. William Hurt plays Hanson with gusto. He’s lost, hurt, hopeless and hopeful all at the same time. He plays both loner on a journey and father f

NBC's Chuck Season Spoiler

NBC's Chuck Season Spoiler Looks like EW has a Buy More mole just tipped me off that Josh Schwartz is casting younger versions of Chuck and Ellie ( 7 and 11, respectively) to appear in a flashback sequence in Chuck’s season finale. No other details were provided, but I spy a connection between this and Scott Bakula’s return as Bartowski patriarch Steve. Also, if you recall, Schwartz recently declared that Bakula’s Chuck comeback arc would be “the biggest thing we’ve ever done on the show.” Put it all together and what do you get? The Flash To Be Directed By Green Lantern Scribe?

The Flash To Be Directed By Green Lantern Scribe? By Last we heard about a proposed movie based on DC Comics' Flash, writer David Goyer said it was "shrouded in mystery." Well, the mystery has lifted a bit, if we are to believe our athletically inclined pals at IESB.net: They're reporting that Greg Berlanti, co-writer of the upcoming Green Lantern and director of Life as We Know It, is in line to direct: The name should ring a bell or two, Berlanti wrote "Green Lantern" with one my favorites Marc Guggenheim and was once attached to direct the film before WB settled on Martin Campbell. It's unclear whether Flash will be based on Goyer's initial idea or will be written by someone else. And, of course, way to early to know who will put on the red suit, though Ryan Reynolds was once Goyer's choice (he's not involved and will instead play Hal Jordan in Green Lantern). Bradley Cooper Leaves The "War"

Bradley Cooper Leaves The "War" Bradley Cooper has dropped out of 20th Century Fox comedy "This Means War." Cooper, who was attached to star opposite Reese Witherspoon, didn't offer a reason for the decision. Cooper's upcoming projects include Warner Bros.' "Hangover 2" and Rogue Pictures' "Dark Fields." Witherspoon remains attached to star in "This Means War," which McG will direct. Fox and McG hope to begin lensing as early as late spring or summer. Will Smith's Overbrook shingle is producing the comedy. Script has gone through multiple rewrites over the years. As it stands now, storyline centers on two spies who are lifelong friends until falling in love with the same woman. It was scribe Timothy Dowling's revision that attracted Witherspoon and Cooper, and pushed the project toward being greenlit. Please Leave A Comment- Source- Variety

"Blue Mountain State" Coming Back For A Second Season

"Blue Mountain State" Coming Back For A Second Season I had the chance to meet the guys from Spike's "Blue Mountain State" at Spike's Scream Awards last year and they were some great guys taking the time out to talk to me and for giving me some insight on the show before it came out. And so far this season the best episode has got to be when Craig Shilo looses his promise ring at the strip club, when they went there to celebrate and throw him a promise bachelor party. The show has been renewed for a second season which is great news for us over here at sandwichjohnfilms. The series follows three incoming freshmen (Darin Brooks, Chris Romano, Sam Jones III) who attend Midwestern football powerhouse Blue Mountain State and must quickly adapt to college life while juggling football, women, classes and nonstop hazing. Co-starring on "Mountain" are NFL running back-turned-actor Ed Marinaro as the team's coach, Gabrielle Dennis as Jones' contro

New Trailer For How To Train Your Dragon

New Trailer For How To Train Your Dragon How to Train Your Dragon, also known as How to Train Your Dragon 3D, is an upcoming computer-animated film by DreamWorks Animation loosely based on the 2003 book of that same title. The film stars the voice talents of Jay Baruchel, America Ferrera, Jonah Hill, Gerard Butler, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Craig Ferguson. The film is scheduled to be released on March 26, 2010. Here is the new trailer from DreamWorks Animation. The film is set in a mythical world of Vikings and dragons. The story centers around a viking teenager named Hiccup (Jay Baruchel), who lives on the island of Berk, where fighting dragons is a way of life. The teen’s smarts and offbeat sense of humor is disliked by his tribe and its chief, Hiccup’s father, Stoick the Vast (Gerard Butler). However, when Hiccup is included in Dragon Training with the other viking teens, he sees his chance to prove he has what it takes to be a fighter. After he entangles a dragon with a bolas-sh

Matt Damon To Star In Robert F Kennedy Biopic

Matt Damon To Star In Robert F Kennedy Biopic In this tough marketplace, if you want to make another movie about a complex historical figure like Robert F Kennedy, you'd better bring to the table an actor with chops and bankability to excite a financier. Matt Damon does both those things. I've just heard that a deal closed at New Regency for an RFK film that has Damon attached, with Gary Ross directing and Steven Knight scripting. Damon will wait to see the script before we know whether or not the project will really happen. The film will be based on the Evan Thomas biography His Life , which Landscape Entertainment’s Bob Cooper optioned and will produce with Ross and his Larger Than Life partner Alison Thomas. While Damon just played South African rugby star Francois Pienaar in Invictus, he has never played a real figure like Kennedy. The film will trace RFK's transformation from the younger brother in the shadow brother President John F Kennedy to a strong national leade
