BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Frank Miller's "Ronin" Graphic Novel Heats Up

Frank Miller's "Ronin" Graphic Novel Heats Up First thing that came to your mind was the film that started Robert De Niro with the same title. But you are way off board on this one. No sequel here. Sylvian White the man who is behind the upcoming film "Losers" gives us some insight to the adaptation of Frank Miller's graphic novel Ronin to be produced by Warner Bros. and the producers behind 300. "Ronin" was Miller's earliest work published by DC Comics in 1983, and follows a reincarnated Ronin (a.k.a. a samurai without a master) through a futuristic dystopian New York City that is suffering, unnervingly, from an unspecified catastrophic economic collapse. The Ronin’s quest is to destroy the demon who imprisoned his soul for about 800 years. ComingSoon.net/SuperHeroHype spoke with White, "Yeah absolutely," he responded. "That's something I had to let go of for a period of time while I was directing 'The Losers' bu

Ben Affleck And Matt Damon Might Be Teaming Back Up In The Near Future?

Ben Affleck And Matt Damon Might Be Teaming Back Up In The Near Future? How do you like them apples? Looks like the two Boston kids might be teaming back up. The actors, longtime friends who won the original screenplay Oscar for "Good Will Hunting" in 1997, are negotiating to close a first-look producing deal at WB. Details are yet unknown on the new company's name or the length of the agreement, but the pact is likely to close within days. While Affleck has lately focused more on his writing-directing career, Damon has balanced a consistently successful profile in front of the camera in movies such as the "Bourne" series with more fringe fare such as "Gerry," "The Brothers Grimm" and "Che: Part Two." As producers, the two actors shepherded the "Project Greenlight" films, while Damon has been an executive producer on the documentaries "Running the Sahara" and "The People Speak." Damon next stars in the

International Trailer For Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps This trailer is different from the teaser trailer that came out a few ago. It focus more on the return of Gekko and the introduction of Jake (Shia Labeouf) Director Oliver Stone has often reflected upon the nation's past in such films as Platoon,Born on the Fourth of July,JFK and Nixon. But, unlike history, he doesn't like to repeat himself. Until now, that is, when Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, the sequel to his 1987 descent into the dirty business of corporate raiding, opens this spring. Please Leave A Comment-

American Pie 4 In The Works

American Pie 4 In The Works. Do You Really Care? Are you ready for another American Pie movie to hit a theater near you? Universal think it might be time to bring back Jim, Stifler and the rest of the "American Pie" cast. America was a huge hit when it first came out The original "American Pie" was released in 1999 and became a cultural and commercial phenomenon, grossing more than $200 million worldwide and spawning a booming market for R-rated summer comedies. "American Pie 2" and "American Wedding" followed at two-year intervals. Then they continued the tradition with straight to DVD movies, With a host of direct-to-DVD titles then followed "Wedding" under the banner of "American Pie Presents," including "Band Camp," "The Naked Mile," "Beta House" and, this past December, "The Book of Love." Which I have never watched. The guys behind "Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle" S

Michael Jordan Wants A Piece Of The Charlotte Bobcats

Michael Jordan Wants A Piece Of The Charlotte Bobcats Jordan soon could have a much different role: team owner. Charlotte coach Larry Brown said Monday night that Jordan has told him he’s doing all he can to buy majority control of the Bobcats from owner Bob Johnson. “He said he’s doing his best to put himself in a position to get the team,” Brown said after practice. “He wants it badly.” Johnson is eager to sell the unprofitable club, and NBA commissioner David Stern said Saturday he expects a deal to be completed within two months. Johnson, the founder of Black Entertainment Television and the first black majority owner of a major professional sports team. Jordan, currently a part owner with the final say on basketball decisions, would have to put an ownership group together and agree with Johnson on a price. Jordan declined comment Monday through a team spokesman. “I didn’t talk to him about the particulars,” Brown said of his conversation with Jordan last week. “He just told me don

Don't Mess With George Lucas, Reshoots Of "Red Tails"

Don't Mess With George Lucas, Reshoots Of "Red Tails" This film is a passion for George Lucas and with him not being happy with how the direction that film was going, looks like Mr. Lucas is stepping down from his producer chair and directing the re-shoots himself. You mess with the Bull you get the Horns. The guys over at firstshowing have found out that Lucas was very displeased with TV director Anthony Hemingway's work, and is taking it upon himself to direct some massive reshoots. With these re-shoots come some hefty re-writes which I'm told completely change the main characters and their storylines. Red Tails , the story of the Tuskegee Airmen, the first African-American pilots to fly in a combat squadron during World War II, Principal photography wrapped in November last year with Terrence Howard, Cuba Gooding Jr. and Bryan Cranston starring in a fictional story of the historic and heroic exploits of America's first all black aerial combat unit in WWII.

"Zombieland" Writers Talking G.I. Joe Sequel. Get Ready For Some New Faces

"Zombieland" Writers Talking G.I. Joe Sequel. Get Ready For Some New Faces I was always a fan of G.I.Joe's as a kid and was super excited when they announced they were going to be making a film,“The Rise of Cobra." But wow was that movie bad. I would have walked out the film if I hadn't paid money for the film. Best part of the film was Ray Park (Snake Eyes) action scenes. I am hoping for a better film with the sequel and the only reason behind my joy is that we got Super talented guys penning the film. Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick the guys behind "Zomibeland" They assured us that their “G.I. Joe” sequel will be something closer to the roots of the toyline. So much so, that Reese has already made his own G.I. Joe film… well, kinda. “My very first movie was a ‘G.I. Joe’ movie; I used the little ‘G.I. Joe’ action figures [as my actors],” he said, laughing. “I was like 9; the sad thing was that I figured I could do stop-motion with a video camera - and we

Doug Liman To Roll Into "Attica" Film

Doug Liman To Roll Into "Attica" Film Sounds like a werid combination to have Doug Liam and Geoffery Fletcher ( Percious ) screenwriter to be teaming up together. They are moving forward with a film about the 1971 Attica prison riot, which is being independently financed. Liman, is best known for directing the films "Swingers" and "Jumper" and he recently finished a Sean Penn thriller called "Fair Game" that will likely be at Cannes, makes a move in a gritty direction with the real-life story of hot-button guards and prisoners.
