BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Brothers Movie Review By: Windy

Brothers Movie Review By: Windy Windy is just blowing into theaters all over town, and thank god she is writing for us. I am grateful she is taking the time out to do reviews for the site. Make sure you check out her site here and let her know what a great job she is doing. "Brothers," directed by Jim Sheridan ("Get Rich or Die Tryin'") and starring Tobey Maguire, Natalie Portman and Jake Gyllenhaal,, is the story of a family who believes their Marine son (Maguire) is killed in combat and must learn to move on with their lives. Gyllenhaal enters the picture as the ex-con brother who slowly turns into "the good guy" as he realizes > > his brother's family needs a father figure. All the while, Maguire's character is a POW in Afghanistan. In a sense, Maguire plays two characters in this film, the family-oriented Marine before being held in Afghanistan, and the damaged, paranoid Marine post-war. With Maguire's initial character, there

New From Paris With Love Trailer Starring John Travolta

New From Paris With Love Trailer Starring John Travolta Paris finds a low-ranking US operative (Jonathan Rhys) thrust into a situation way above his level of experience when he's assigned to help stop a terrorist attack in France. He's partnered with a wise-cracking, bullet-flinging, skull-smashing FBI agent named Charlie Wax (John Travolta) who delights in taking out the bad guys with his particular set of skills. Yes, two stories about the director of Taken today (the other is about Dune) and we've only made the Liam Neeson quote joke once. It's like a New Year's resolution! The footage is full of the sort of high-octane, OTT action that Morel is steeped in and looks to be another gonzo action role for Travolta. Which is still better than Old Dogs. The film opens on 5th March. Please Leave A Comment- Source- Empire Via Apple

Vince Vaughn To Star In A Dark Comedy Directed By Ron Howard

Vince Vaughn To Star In A Dark Comedy Directed By Ron Howard The studio is putting the pieces together for a film project exploring the subject of infidelity that will be directed by Ron Howard and star Vince Vaughn. Imagine topper Brian Grazer came up with the idea and is producing with Vaughn, who will produce with his Wild West Picture Show Prods. Allan Loeb wrote the currently untitled script, which would go before cameras in the spring. The story follows a man who learns that his best friend's wife is cheating and must then navigate treacherous waters to decide what do with that knowledge. The project is said to continue Vaughn's interest of tackling the dark areas of relationships, which he did with "The Break-Up" and, to a lesser extent, "Couples Retreat," which ended up leaving its darker moments on the editing room floor. The script is said to walk a fine line of being comedy and drama, much like "Break-Up" did. Please Leave A Comment- Sou

Sandra Bullock Makes Box Office History

Sandra Bullock Makes Box Office History Sandra Bullock rang in the new year making box office history. Some time over the weekend, Bullock starrer "The Blind Side" became the first pic in history driven solely by a top female star to jump the $200 million mark at the domestic B.O. To be precise, the film finished the frame with a cume of $208.5 million in its seventh week in release. Over the weekend, it rose a remarkable 10% over the previous week, and it's still got plenty of life left, according to Warner Bros. prexy of domestic distribution Dan Fellman. "Blind Side" was fully financed and produced by Alcon Entertainment. The project was brought in by Molly Smith, daughter of Alcon backer Fred Smith, founder of FedEx. It's hard to believe, but none of the previous films in which Bullock had top solo billing had reached $200 million, nor have any of the solo starring efforts of the likes of Julia Roberts, Meryl Streep, Angelina Jolie or Reese Witherspoon.

Julie Benz Moves Into Wisteria Lane. Newest Desperate Housewives Cast Member

Julie Benz Moves Into Wisteria Lane. Newest Desperate Housewives Cast Member Now I finally have a reason to watch the show after all these years. Julie Benz has bounced back from her shocking Dexter departure with a major role on Desperate Housewives. Sources confirm to me exclusively that Benz — whose character, Rita, succumbed to the most horrific bubble bath in television history in last month’s Dexter finale — has been cast in the recurring role of Debbie, a stripper with a heart of gold and a Masters degree in education. When Susan offers her the chance to transition into a more legitimate career, Deb jumps at it. Benz is booked for at least three episodes, the first of which is scheduled to air in February. Kesha's "TiK ToK" Sets Female Download Record Rookie pop singer Ke$ha's "TiK ToK" shifted 610,000 digital tracks for the week ending December 27, according to Nielsen SoundScan. That's the highest weekly sum by a female artist since tracking began in 2003, and the second-best overall after Flo Rida's "Right Round" sold 636,000 this past February. Coincidentally, Ke$ha was an uncredited singer on the track. TiK ToK" eclipsed the female mark set by Lady Gaga with "Just Dance" exactly a year ago. Ke$ha's hefty download sum will ensure "TiK ToK's" place atop the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart for a second week when that chart is released Thursday. The song previews her debut album "Animal," which is set to hit stores on January 5. Please Leave A Comment- Source- Yahoo
