Bryan Singer Talks X-Men: First Class

Bryan Singer Talks X-Men: First Class Now that he's officially signed to develop and direct the film, Bryan Singer has begun to talk - at least, to drop hints - about mutant prequel pic X-Men: First Class. Singer admitted that while he couldn't talk specifically about the story (it's still a secret), he could lock down what part of the X-story it would cover. "It’s basically about the formation of the X-Men. How they began and the relationship between a young Xavier and a young Magneto." And since it'll borrow elements from Eric Lensherr's longer life, it's even more likely that the Magneto origin movie will be shoved back on the schedule as Fox concentrates on this. "This story would probably utilize some of the Magneto story because it deals with a young Magneto, so it might supersede that because this would explore that relationship between a young energetic professor and a disenfranchised victim of the Holocaust." But even First Class wi

Peter Jackson Developing Mortal Engines

Peter Jackson Developing Mortal Engines Wellington's Dominion Post, a newspaper published in the New Zealand home of Peter Jackson's Wingnut Films and the Weta Workshop, has broken the news that Jackson and Weta are working on adaptations of Philip Reeve's Mortal Engines quartet (known as The Hungry City Chronicles in the US: so let's hope we get to keep the UK titles and there's none of that Golden Compass nonsense). Reeve's series of children's novels takes place in a steampunk post-apocalyptic future where cities are mobile and perambulate the planet devouring each other for fuel: a system amusingly called Municipal Darwinism. The St Paul's Cathedral-topped London is the strongest of these Traction Cities, in a world where "old tech" is extremely sought after. The first novel, Mortal Engines itself, in a very small nutshell, involves an assassination attempt within the Historians Guild; the challenging of apprentice Historian Tom Natsworthy&

Twilight:Eclipse's Bryce Dallas Howard Talks Replacing Rachelle Lefevre.

Twilight:Eclipse's Bryce Dallas Howard Talks Replacing Rachelle Lefevre. In the upcoming third Twilight movie, Eclipse, Terminator Salvation's Bryce Dallas Howard will step in for Rachelle Lefevre as the evil vampire Victoria, and Howard said that the filmmakers took pains to make sure the transition was smooth. (Lefevre was let go last summer.) For one thing, the filmmakers will put a red wig on the otherwise red-haired Howard so that her tresses match those of Lefevre from the first two Twilight films. "I'm wearing a wig for that film," Howard said in a group interview last week in Los Angeles, where she was promoting The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond. Howard added that it was important to all involved that Victoria remain the same character. "There's a very grounded visual continuity for the character, which is critical," Howard said. (Spoilers ahead!) As readers know, Eclipse is the story in which Victoria becomes the biggest threat. She's been

Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz's Knight And Day Trailer

Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz's Knight And Day Trailer My main man Tom Cruise kicking ass and taking names. During the trailer you can see how much fun he is having and the line "I'll kill myself, then her." was great... Tom Cruise plays a secret agent who goes on a blind date with unlucky-in-love Cameron Diaz, and ends up pulling her into a journey to protect a powerful battery that holds the key to an infinite power source. The Karate Kid Trailer

The Karate Kid Trailer I was hoping that the movie and trailer would just be really bad. I am a huge Fan of the original film and was hoping this film would look horrible so that no one would waste a dime to go see the film when it hits theaters. But from what they showed on the trailer it doesn't look half bad. Not saying that I would go to see the film during the first weekend, but maybe when it hits the dollar theaters. I may take a chance on it. Sherry is offered a transfer to China. Considering the U.S office is about to lay off everyone, it’s really her only choice; especially since nobody else at the office has been offered a transfer. With her young son Dre (Jaden Smith) in tow, the single-mother makes Beijing her new home. Needless to say, not knowing Chinese, and experiencing a bit of culture shock, they both find it a little hard to settle in – – Dre especially. Like Daniel Larusso in the original film, Dre (who, unlike Larusso, is a skateboarding video-game buff) imme

Taylor Lautner To Make Vision Quest Remake

Taylor Lautner To Make Vision Quest Remake Taylor Lautner may be about to pin down another role. Seemingly seconds after he booked yet another post-Jacob job, sources tell E! News that the 17-year-old actor is in talks to put his New Moon abs to good use in a remake of the 1985 drama Vision Quest. Which is not what it sounds like--a cheesy sci-fi flick--but rather a coming-of-age romance that featured Madonna's "Crazy for You" as its theme song and that starred Matthew Modine as a high school wrestling star who falls in love with an artist--a permtastic Linda Fiorentino--his dad has taken in as a boarder. Why remake? Let's just rerelease that! But Taylor may have another vision. He could wind up playing an updated version of Modine's character in the still-in-development film, which counts Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen of Temple Hill Entertainment (and Twilight and New Moon fame) as producers. We hear that Richard Munic has penned a screenplay that is "very f

"Kick-Ass" Red Band Trailer Featuring Hit-Girl

"Kick-Ass" Red Band Trailer Featuring Hit-Girl One reason why "Kick-Ass" is getting a ton of buzz is due to the character of Hit-Girl. Played by Chloe Moretz , she is 11 years old, she cusses, she kills people. This red band (red band!) trailer from IGN may show why she is a candidate for breakout actress/character of 2010. Much of the action images were seen at the "Kick-Ass'" Comic Con pane,l but it doesn't matter: There are still some doozies here. Please Leave A Comment- Source- THR
