Jeffrey Dean Morgan Joining Cast Of "Red Dawn " Looks like Jeffrey Dean Morgan will soon be waking up to a Red Dawn . The Watchmen star is in talks to join Dan Bradley’s remake of the 1984 John Milius semi-classic, about a band of teenagers who form the Resistance when World War III comes to their small American town in the shape of invading Chinese and Russian soldiers. Morgan will play the leader of a U.S. Special Forces team who discovers the teenagers – now known as the Wolverines – while he’s behind enemy lines. If the role is at all comparable to Powers Boothe’s downed pilot in the original, he’ll then stick around to lend his expertise to the Wolverines as they make life difficult for the invaders. And though the Red Dawn role will probably only be a supporting role, there’s no doubt that the 43 year-old will bring a gravitas to a cast so youthful – Chris Hemsworth , Adrienne Palicki, Josh Peck. Deal is part of a two-picture pic pact Berg has made with U, where he'll follow "Battleship" with an Afghan war drama "Lone Survivor." Universal's date declaration positions " Battleship " to become the second film release from the studio's multiyear deal with Hasbro to turn its classic games into features. Star Tours Getting an Updated Look To Reopen in 2011 This has been a long time coming. As a Child I really enjoyed the ride and to this day every time I go to Disneyland I have to ride Star Tours. After watching The Phantom Menace , I thought to myself that would be Really cool if they updated Star Tours with Pod Racing and Look what Happened. I am heading down to Disneyland in October so I better get one last ride on Star Tours. Johnny Depp is a tough act to follow, so Disney Parks and Resorts Chairman Jay Rasulo brought in the heavy artillery today to announce plans to update the Star Tours attraction at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim and Disney's Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Fla. The 25 year-old singer/actress will lend her voice to Disney’s 3D retelling of the classic Brothers Grimm fairy tale, about a princess who is imprisoned in a tall tower, and escapes after she grows her golden hair to extraordinary lengths. Disney’s animated tale will pick up Rapunzel ’s story after she escapes from the tower, as she goes on the run from her evil captor, accompanied by a roguish bandit (voiced by Chuck star, Zachary Levi ).
