Dude Looks Like a Lady-Ryan Reynolds To Cross Dress Ryan Reynolds, your 11th sexiest man alive, is set to cross-dress in his next as-yet untitled comedy. The sometime-Deadpool and soon-to-be Green Lantern will be donning dress and mascara to win his ex back, in one of the more unusual dating strategies we've heard. In a plot that sounds suspiciously like Mrs Doubtfire with the children removed (or Some Like It Hot without any gangsters or millionaires), the cross-dressing will be allowing Reynolds' dude-y character to befriend the ex who dumped him and hopefully win her back (our prediction: not that easy, but Life Lessons will be learned before the happy ending). In news that should surprise precisely no one, the first actor besides Liam Neeson to secure a deal for Taken 3 is Maggie Grace . She'll be appearing once again as Kim, the daughter of the Action Dad with a particular set of skills. In the first film she was a passive, drugged kidnap victim, but in Taken 2 she was more than up for throwing the odd grenade. Analysts are figuring that Netflix will have added around 3.7 million subscribers to its ranks, giving it 23.7 million, give or take 100,000. January Box Office By: MattInRC Lone Survivor leads the best January in four years. Last year around this time, we lamented about Hollywood's disappointing January, a fact which took three months to correct - not so in 2014. Led by a gripping war flick and an animated musical, January's box office took in $894 million, up 8% from 2013 and 18.6% from 2011. Lone Survivor finished just under $100 million, while Frozen took in $89.8 million. The biggest difference can be seen when comparing the top 5 this year from last, which lately has been dominated by December leftovers. In 2014, two of the top three films are new releases: Lone Survivor and the buddy-cop comedy Ride Along , which took in $84.6 million. As a matter of comparison, 2013 sported only one new release in its top 5 (Mama), while 2012 had two ( Contraband and The Devil Inside ).
