Zach Galifianakis To Tell "A Funny Story"

Zach Galifianakis To Tell "A Funny Story" I don't think that I have laugh my ass so much during a movie, as much as I did watching The Hangover , . Zach Galifianakis is having a break out year so far Staring in The Hangover and also Disney's G-Force Zach Galifianakis, breakout star of The Hangover, is in negotiations to star in A Funny Story, alongside Emma Roberts and with Half-Nelson writer-directors Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden, er, writing and directing. The story's set in a mental institute, so immediately we're saying that this is comedy of the darker and more dramatic sort. Based on Ned Vizzini's young-adult novel, it's the story of a teenage boy (as-yet uncast) who is sent to the institution following a bout of depression. He somehow ends up in an adult ward (the Daily Mail would be up in arms) and befriends a number of odd adults and an unusual teenage girl. Galifianakis would play one of the most prominent of the adult patients, while

J.J Abrams Talks Star Trek 2 and Mission Impossible 4

J.J Abrams Talks Star Trek 2 and Mission Impossible 4 I was not a Star Trek Fan by any means, But when I went to the theaters and saw The movie. My mouth dropped, at how great the movie was and from then on I became a fan. I still feel that Star Trek is the Best movie of the summer. And with the news of Mission: Impossible 4. Tom Cruise and Abrams teaming up again. Forget About It. Any momentum on Mission: Impossible IV? Abrams: Yeah, we have a really cool story. It's being written right now by Andre Nemec and Josh Applebaum. What's your ETA on when you'll see the draft? Abrams: We're hoping to get it soon, like by the end of the year. Could it work out for you to direct it? Abrams: I'm open to anything . What about that secret romantic movie Morning Glory? Abrams: Morning Glory is being edited right now. It comes out next year. Does it have a release date? Abrams: Not yet. Where are you in talks for Star Trek 2? Abrams: We're hopefully going to have everyone,

Jessica Biel To Join Cast Of The A-Team Movie

Jessica Biel To Join Cast Of The A-Team Movie This Movie Is just getting Better and Better looking. It is in my top five movies most looking foward to in 2010. Sharlto Copley , the star of this summer's breakout hit "District 9," is in final negotiations to portray "Howling Mad" Murdock in Fox's "A-Team" feature film. Jessica Biel is also in negotiations to join the production. Copley and Biel will join Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper and Quinton "Rampage" Jackson to round out the special forces team convicted of a crime they didn't commit and on the run from government forces. Joe Carnahan is directing the adaptation of the 1980s television show, while Ridley and Tony Scott produce. Copley seemingly came out of nowhere to star in "District 9," landing the role in the movie due to childhood friend Neill Blomkamp's fondness for Copley's improvisational skills, skills which will be ideally suited to the Murdock character.

Patrick Swayze Passes Away At The Age Of 57 Today we lost another great Actor. It is a sad day for all. When I heard the news I didn't belive it, had to turn on the news and there it was Patrick Swayze passed away. Patrick Swayze was in some of my favorite classic movies. Road House dam good movie! Point Break another classic, Red Dawn Come on now and who can forget The Outsiders and one of April's favorite movie Dirty Dancing . Patrick Swayze, the hunky actor who danced his way into moviegoers' hearts with "Dirty Dancing" and then broke them with "Ghost," died Monday after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 57. "Patrick Swayze passed away peacefully today with family at his side after facing the challenges of his illness for the last 20 months," his publicist, Annett Wolf, said in a statement Monday evening. Jeffrey Dean Morgan Joining Cast Of Red Dawn

Jeffrey Dean Morgan Joining Cast Of "Red Dawn " Looks like Jeffrey Dean Morgan will soon be waking up to a Red Dawn . The Watchmen star is in talks to join Dan Bradley’s remake of the 1984 John Milius semi-classic, about a band of teenagers who form the Resistance when World War III comes to their small American town in the shape of invading Chinese and Russian soldiers. Morgan will play the leader of a U.S. Special Forces team who discovers the teenagers – now known as the Wolverines – while he’s behind enemy lines. If the role is at all comparable to Powers Boothe’s downed pilot in the original, he’ll then stick around to lend his expertise to the Wolverines as they make life difficult for the invaders. And though the Red Dawn role will probably only be a supporting role, there’s no doubt that the 43 year-old will bring a gravitas to a cast so youthful – Chris Hemsworth , Adrienne Palicki, Josh Peck. Michael Douglas Gives Insight About Wall Street 2

Michael Douglas Gives Insight About Wall Street 2 Michael Douglas is starting shooting today on Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps for director Oliver Stone, but we managed to grab a few minutes with him over the weekend and got the lowdown on what Gordon Gekko has been up to in the years between films. "It’s 22 years later," Douglas explains. "Gordon has done about eight years in jail and got out in about 2001. The picture predominantly focuses on these last couple of years on Wall Street, which nobody anticipated. We shot the first one in 1986 and it was a wild, wild colourful time. And here we have both a train crash and a larger-than-life period leading up to that train crash. It’s an exciting time to make a picture about Wall Street." "Is this a softer Gekko? Eh, I can’t say that. I think he’s got some amends to make. (Laughs) We’ll see what he’s up to." "We’ve got Josh Brolin playing what I guess is the villain of the piece. There’s a little bi

BattleShip Movie Is Set For Sail in 2011

BattleShip Movie Is Set For Sail in 2011 Universal has set July 1, 2011, for the release of "Battleship," confirming Peter Berg as helmer of the live-action pic based on Hasbro's naval combat board game. Deal is part of a two-picture pic pact Berg has made with U, where he'll follow "Battleship" with an Afghan war drama "Lone Survivor." Universal's date declaration positions " Battleship " to become the second film release from the studio's multiyear deal with Hasbro to turn its classic games into features. "Battleship" is the latest in Universal 's strong push toward branded entertainment films, and Hasbro has fast become an increasingly important cog in that campaign. Scott Stuber and his U-based Stuber Pictures will produce "Battleship" alongside Hasbro's Brian Goldner and Bennett Schneir, Berg and his Film 44 partner Sarah Aubrey. Script was written by Jon Hoeber and Erich Hoeber ("Whiteout&quo

Harrison Ford Talks Indy 5

Harrison Ford Talks Indy 5 I am not for sure if this is a good idea. Coming out with another Indy movie. I did not enjoy the last Indy Movie that came out. Come on Hide in a Fridge from a nuclear bomb? Dust off the fedora and clear out the snakes – Indiana Jones is ready to ride again. Harrison Ford, 67, says he's already ready for the globe-trotting archaeologist's next adventure, only a year after one of history's most successful film franchises was revived – and that the next chapter is already well on its way. "The story for the new Indiana Jones is in the process of taking form," Ford told France's Le Figaro . "Steven Spielberg, George Lucas and myself are agreed on what the fifth adventure will concern, and George is actively at work. If the script is good, I'll be very happy to put the costume on again." The screen legend was on hand to accept a career honor at the Deauville Film Festival, with partner Calista Flockhart on his arm. In June
