The still captures Leonardo Lima Carvalho , the youngest actor who portrays soccer king Pele from ages 10 through 13, playing with a soccer ball made of socks in the alleys of Bauru, Sao Paulo, where he grew up. Pele is described as an origins story, chronicling Pele's rise from the slums of Sao Paulo to become the people's hero when, as a 17-year-old, he led Brazil to its first World Cup victory, in 1958. Much more than last time in the way of people being shot to bits and resoundingly beaten there, plus some particularly ripe dialogue and one of those flashbacks where The Stath has hair. Always enjoy those. It's looking to be another retro-throwback '80s style R-rated actioner, of which there have been a few this year. This one has the benefit of having been written by Mr Sly Stallone himself. If you watch carefully you'll even see a bullet to the head.
