Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight Cast Announced

Yesterday, it was reported that Channing Tatum was circling a role in Quentin Tarantino ’s bloody new Western The Hateful Eight . While he clearly hasn’t snagged a huge role, he is now confirmed for the cast alongside fellow QT newbie Demian Bichir . Set a few years after the ragged end of the Civil War, the film finds a stagecoach waylaid in wintry Wyoming wilderness and the passengers forced to seek shelter at Minnie’s Haberdashery, a stopover on a mountain pass. The passengers, bounty hunter John Ruth and his fugitive Daisy Domergue are trying to reach the town of Red Rock where Ruth, known in these parts as “The Hangman,” will bring Domergue to justice. Along the way, they encounter two strangers: Major Marquis Warren, a black former Union soldier turned infamous bounty hunter, and Chris Mannix, a Southern renegade who claims to be the town’s new Sheriff. Arriving at Minnie’s, they’re greeted not by the owner, but by Bob, who’s taking care of the place while Minnie’s visiti

Arbitrage Review. You Will Be Surprised

Arbitrage Review By: MattInRC Arbitrage is a thriller that ignores convention with an ending that might surprise you in its arrogance. On the surface, hedge fund Robert Miller ( Richard Gere , The Double) appears to have it all. He's the king of finance, having been richly rewarded for his investment schemes and the center of attention during a CNBC interview; and, he is a happily-married father, celebrating his 60th birthday surrounded by wife Ellen ( Susan Sarandon , Thelma and Louise) and daughter Brooke ( Brit Marling , Another Earth) . But, hidden underneath that thick facade are some painful realities: he's desperate to sell the company before both his clients and the FTC realize that he's lost millions of dollars, and even his marriage is a sham, furthered by his ongoing affair with a struggling French artist (newcomer Laetitia Casta ) whom he supports. When Miller and girlfriend are involved in a fatal car accident, he calls an unlikely source, the son o

Tim Roth Has A Fall From Grace

If Tim Roth can sneak away from his duties as head of the Un Certain Regard jury, he’s likely to be found huddling with director Jennifer Lynch , since he’s been tapped to star in his next project A Fall From Grace , which is looking to begin filming this summer in St. Louis, Mo. Roth is to play a homicide detective on the trail of a serial killer. “It’s about a lot of dark, taboo issues, but it’s really a drama about wounds,” says Lynch, who’s scheduled to be joined by Roth, schedule permitting, for a Wednesday panel at the American Pavilion. Eric Wilkinson has written the screenplay and will produce the project with his Apothecary Films partner David Michaels. Please Leave A Comment- source- THR

Tim Roth Is Game For A Return In 'Incredible Hulk' Sequel Or Other Marvel Movies

Tim Roth Is Game For A Return In 'Incredible Hulk' Sequel Or Other Marvel Movies While 2008's "Incredible Hulk" only performed marginally better at the box office than its 2003 counterpart, many fans praised Louis Leterrier's take on Marvel's green goliath as a significant upgrade from Ang Lee's earlier film. One of the most notable improvements, according to many critics, was the addition of award-winning actor Tim Roth as the villainous soldier Emil Blonsky opposite Edward Norton's scientist-on-the-run Bruce Banner. Even though [SPOILER ALERT] Roth's character was on the receiving end of a Hulk beatdown at the end of the film (despite becoming the mutated behemoth Abomination), the door was left wide open for a potential return. And as Hulk fans know, Blonsky is a regular presence among Hulk's rogues. While chatting with Roth recently about "Lie to Me," the Fox television series in which he plays a human lie-detector of sorts, I
