Natalie Portman Is Done With Marvel

Looks like Thor is a single god again. According to Natalie Portman , her time in the MCU is at an end. Jane Foster’s absence from Thor: Ragnarok is likely to be a permanent development. “As far as I know, I’m done,” she revealed in an interview with The Wall Street Journal. "I don’t know if maybe one day, they’ll ask for an Avengers 7 or whatever, but as far as I know, I’m done. It was a great thing to be a part of.” Of course, Portman’s astrophysicist has been rather left behind by the evolving state of the MCU. We last saw her in Thor: The Dark World and, although Thor mentioned her at Tony Stark's party in Avengers: Age Of Ultron, she’s inevitably faded into the background since her Norse love interest returned to Asgard. If true, it’s a departure from Marvel’s policy of keeping its players on long contracts, even if she seems to have left the window open for a return down the line. Don’t bet against that Avengers 7 prediction coming true one day, albeit with a dif

That's A Wrap For Mark Ruffalo From The Set Of Thor: Ragnarok

Nothing gold can stay, much to the chagrin of Mark Ruffalo , who recently wrapped production on Thor: Ragnarok via THR The third Thor film has been shooting in New Zealand — a production that has been well-documented on Instagram and Twitter by the cast and crew. Ruffalo commemorated his time on set with several Instagram posts, including selfies with director Taika Waititi, co-star Chris Hemsworth (and his short hair) and one with the big, green guy himself with a caption that reads, "Laugh now, cry later." Even though Hulk has wrapped, there is still more filming to be done on Ragnarok, which will see the return of Hemsworth and the God of Thunder, along with franchise newcomers Cate Blanchett, Jeff Goldblum and Tessa Thompson , the latter of whom will be playing the heroine Valkyrie. Audiences can get in on the fun when Ragnarok hits theaters Nov 3, 2017. Please Leave A Comment-

Tessa Thompson Joins Thor: Ragnarok

Variety is reporting “ Creed ,” actress Tessa Thompson is eyeing a jump to the Marvel universe in  “ Thor: Ragnarok .” Chris Hemsworth is back as the Norse God in the superhero sequel, which co-stars his “Avengers” counterpart Mark Ruffalo (the Hulk). Oscar winner Cate Blanchett is also in talks to play an unknown role. Taika Waiti in on board to direct “Ragnarok” with Stephany Folsom recently polished the script. Kevin Feige will produce the film, which hits theaters on Nov. 3, 2017. Most recently featured as the female lead in the box-office success “Creed,” and prior to that was a supporting cast member in “Selma,” as her breakout role was the star of the indie feature film darling “Dear White People.” Currently, Thompson is filming a female lead role in the HBO Drama Series “Westworld” and has also been cast in a female lead role alongside Natalie Portman in “Annihilation” for director Alex Garland, produced by Scott Rudin. Thompson also has a strong supporting r

Thor: Ragnarok Has Found Its Writer

THR is reporting Stephany Folsom has been tapped to work on the script for Thor: Ragnarok . It’s the first move on the Marvel Studios project since early October, when Taika Waititi , who co-wrote and co-directed the vampire spoof What We Do In the Shadows, came on board to helm the project, the third installment of Marvel’s Thor movies. Chris Hemsworth will be back as the Norse god of thunder for the film that is also due to feature a team-up with the Hulk. Christopher Yost and Craig Kyle previously worked on the script. Folsom is the latest female writer to be brought into the Marvel stable, whose stock in trade is a genre that many think of as male-oriented. Marvel already had Nicole Perlman as a writer on Guardians of the Galaxy and she is now writing Captain Marvel with another female screenwriter, Meg LeFauve (Inside Out). Folsom is best known for her 2013 Black List script 1969: A Space Odyssey or How Kubrick Learned to Stop Worrying and Land on the Moon. The drama

Hulk Could Return In Thor: Ragnarok

According to the JoBlo  we could see Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk show up in Thor: Ragnarok . The giant green guy, who also sometimes goes by the name Bruce Banner (don’t mention puny Banner) was last seen soaring into the sky in a Quinjet at the end of Avengers: Age Of Ultron . That’s last seen, of course – the plane was later found crashed with no one aboard, so it’s entirely possible he did find himself in space and didn’t just leap out to go and visit Tahiti, which we're sure he’s heard is a magical place. Currently, the rumour sources say that Hulk will be seen fighting alongside Asgard’s finest son ( Chris Hemsworth ) as Thor faces down what is essentially the Asgardian apocalypse and likely more trouble from Tom Hiddleston’s Loki, currently impersonating his step-father (and Thor’s dad) Odin. There is also word on another distant planet, not one we’ve seen before, that ties into this, which is already driving speculation that it could see Marvel using some elements of the much-
