At Wonder Con this year they showed us 10 minutes of never before seen footage for the upcoming film Green Lantern . But Warner Bros. doesn't want to leave people out that were unable to attended the event this year. So they released this 4 minute clip for you. The clip gives me more hope for this film. Magic Mountain Regains Title Six Flags Magic Mountain will reclaim the Roller Coaster Capital of the World title with the addition of two coasters in spring 2011, including a first-of-its-kind ride in the U.S., amusement park officials said. The Green Lantern will bring Magic Mountain's coaster count to 18, allowing the Valencia amusement park to recapture the coaster crown, taken by Ohio’s Cedar Point in 2008. Magic Mountain snatched the crown from Cedar Point around the turn of the millennium after adding a coaster a year during a building binge that stretched from 1997 to 2003. Cedar Point, with 17 coasters, plans to add a tower swing thrill ride in 2011. Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey will also add a stand-up coaster called Green Lantern in 2011, relocated from a shuttered park in Kentucky. The debut of both themed coasters will coincide with the 2011 release of the "Green Lantern" movie based on the DC Comics superhero with otherworldly powers.

Ryan Reynolds Kicks Off Green Lantern Panel Warner Bros kicked off the movie side of Comic Con in a big way with a first look at its latest DC Comics superhero tentpole, “Green Lantern.” Glimpse is a more apt description as the movie is still in production in Louisiana and the footage was teasingly half-second images of Ryan Reynolds with the alien power ring, a yellow alien named Tomaray,Reynolds willing a giant fist into existence and plowing some thugs, an alien world, among others. The crowd liked what it saw, even as the movie faces microscopic scrutiny from the fan community, who recently vocally debated the merits of Ryan Reynolds in costume on a recent Entertainment Weekly cover. Hammond is a petty criminal on the run from the law when he discovers the fragments of a strange meteor in the woods (later retconned as part of the same meteor that lands in Africa, super-evolving Gorilla Grodd and the other gorillas of Gorilla City).
