BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

THE AVENGERS Movie Review By: RAMA

THE AVENGERS Movie Review By: RAMA We just put up Matt's review of the film, now let's see what RAMA thought of it. Wow! Just Wow! I guess if you look up the word ‘awesome’ in the dictionary now, you can find the picture of THE AVENGERS, if it ain’t there, it should be. Who would’ve thought that this unprecedented endeavor could not only be possible but it’s also successful in every way, my goodness, if you don’t geek out at every scene in this film, then there is something emotionally and medically wrong with you. Many of us wish that our childhood dream could someday turn into reality, somewhere along the way either our dreams change or we change but I can only imagine the big smile on Marvel’s head honcho Kevin Feige’s face, knowing that what he’s always wanted to see when he was a kid, is finally realized on the big screen, spectacularly I might add. THE AVENGERS is the ultimate superhero movie, Marvel has now officially given DC-WB a run for their money. Earth’

THE AVENGERS Movie Review By: Matt

THE AVENGERS Movie Review By: Matt The comic book fan-gasm known as The Avengers has finally arrived, with all the hype surrounding a summer blockbuster. For some, the idea of the ultmate superhero get-together promises to be bigger than anything we've ever seen. Yet, it also comes with its own set of questions: Would Director Joss Whedon (Firefly, The Cabin in the Woods) keep consistency between characters originally envisioned by other directors? Is there enough time for each hero to have their moment without making another Lord of the Rings: Extended Edition? What about the third actor playing Hulk in as many films? And while those and other questions have nagged at every fan since the project was announced, we really had nothing to fear. The Avengers is a film of epic proportions, exceeding every expectation I had, putting to rest every question and concern I raised, and proving itself as the greatest superhero movie ever. But be warned: if you have not seen the

Daredevil Film Gets Another Writer

Not every viable Marvel Comics hero is in The Avengers . 20th Century Fox is revving a reboot of Daredevil , and the studio is setting David James Kelly to rewrite of the script, for David Slade to direct. The 30 Days of Night and Twilight Saga: Eclipse helmer became attached last year, and reports have the studio working off the Frank Miller/David Mazzucchelli story arc Born Again , as The Kingpin uncovers the superhero’s secret identity, and uses it to turn blind lawyer Matt Murdoch’s life upside down. Get To Know The THOR Before The Avengers Hits Theaters

Today onepercase brings us the back story of the Great Norse God, THOR . In the Ultimate universe, Thor's "secret identity" is Thorlief Golmen, a psychiatric nurse. He only went by this name until just before his 30th birthday when he had a nervous breakdown and started calling himself Thor, the God of Thunder. This nervous breakdown was actually a realization of who he was and what he was doing on Earth. His purpose? To save the world from the "war to end all wars". After this realization, Thor became a very involved environmental and political activist. (Joe called him a "tree hugging hippie"). Get To Know The Real HULK Before The Avengers Hits Theaters- Thor initially doesn't want to join the Ultimates because he loathes the military aggression the United States is known for and because he is constantly busy with his various causes. 1978 The Avengers What It Would Look Like

As we finally gear up for the release of Marvel's The Avengers on May 4, you can't help but wonder: What if The Avengers had come out in, I don't know, 1978? Well, wonder no longer. Taking footage from the late '70s Incredible Hulk series , along with vintage clips of everything from Captain America to Exo-Man, one YouTube maestro has cut together a trailer for The Avengers circa 1978. The clip is pure retro awesomeness, and it has Marvel's greatest heroes facing off with none other than KISS, a vintage staple of the Marvel vault, who are being controlled by Loki. Get To Know The Real HULK Before The Avengers Hits Theaters

Today onepercase delivers the big man's story. "Don't make me hungry. You won't like me when I'm hungry." Maybe Ed Norton's Banner didn't speak Portugese that well, but it was certainly a cheap laugh that made us all feel a little dirty for laughing at it. Bruce Banner and his big mean alter-ego, the Hulk are today's Ultimate. Bruce Banner is just your every day scientist. Works for the government, creates dangerous serums designed to create super humans. You know, no big deal. 15 years before the events of the first Ultimates, Bruce Banner was hired by none other than Nick Fury to recreate the super soldier serum. Banner eventually completes the serum that he thought was safe. Not wanting to risk not getting the credit for it, Banner injects the serum into himself. Naturally the serum wasn't perfect and turned him into the Hulk instead of a super soldier like Captain America . In the ensuing mayhem, Hulk injures Peter Parker'

Get To Know Real Nick Fury Before The Avengers Hits Theaters

Today onepercase introduces us to the Man who is in Charge. Director of S. H. I. E. L. D. , Nick Fury . Not much is known about Nick Fury before World War II other than he was born some time in the early 1900's. Fury fought in World War II for the United States and served with Private Fisk and James Howlett (Kingpin's grandfather and Wolverine, respectively). While looting a house. all three are arrested with Fisk only receiving a minor wound, but Fury and Howlett are both imprisoned and shipped to unknown locations. At Fury's secret location, he was chosen to be the next test subject of Project Rebirth (which is the Super Soldier program that produced the likes of Captain America). After being injected with the serum, he used his new found super strength to free the other prisoners and then escape from the facility. Fury went to college in India and then enlisted in the US Military. He was involved in many different conflicts such as the Kosovo Wars and the Gulf
