Fox Searchlight Pictures announced today that principal photography on JOJO RABBIT has begun in and around Prague, Czech Republic. Variety is reporting “ Creed ,” actress Tessa Thompson is eyeing a jump to the Marvel universe in  “ Thor: Ragnarok .” Chris Hemsworth is back as the Norse God in the superhero sequel, which co-stars his “Avengers” counterpart Mark Ruffalo (the Hulk). Oscar winner Cate Blanchett is also in talks to play an unknown role. Taika Waiti in on board to direct “Ragnarok” with Stephany Folsom recently polished the script. Kevin Feige will produce the film, which hits theaters on Nov. 3, 2017. THR is reporting Stephany Folsom has been tapped to work on the script for Thor: Ragnarok . It’s the first move on the Marvel Studios project since early October, when Taika Waititi , who co-wrote and co-directed the vampire spoof What We Do In the Shadows, came on board to helm the project, the third installment of Marvel’s Thor movies. Chris Hemsworth will be back as the Norse god of thunder for the film that is also due to feature a team-up with the Hulk. Christopher Yost and Craig Kyle previously worked on the script. Folsom is the latest female writer to be brought into the Marvel stable, whose stock in trade is a genre that many think of as male-oriented. Marvel already had Nicole Perlman as a writer on Guardians of the Galaxy and she is now writing Captain Marvel with another female screenwriter, Meg LeFauve (Inside Out). Taika Waititi , who co-wrote and co-directed the vampire spoof What We Do In the Shadows , is in negotiations to direct the third installment of Marvel’s Thor movies, titled Thor: Ragnarok . Chris Hemsworth is reprising his role of the Norse god of thunder. Waititi’s emergence as the choice caps off a round of intense meetings that took place over the last month. Ruben Fleischer, Rob Letterman and Rawson Marshall Thurber were the other directors that were finalists for the gig. Waititi is the latest head-scratcher from Marvel for their pick to direct a big-budget extravaganza, especially one steeped in the Norse mythology and an Apocalypse myth. Power Batteries are constantly charged by the Central Power Battery to manually fuel about 7200 individual Green Lantern Rings. With few exceptions, the Power Ring was limited to a 24-hour charge and needed to be recharged at the Power Battery on a daily basis. However, that limit has been removed, meaning a Lantern is only obligated to recharge their ring when the power levels are depleted or gone. The amount of energy in a ring is measured by the ring, and relayed to the Lantern via a percentage scale of 0% - 100%. Ryan Reynolds Kicks Off Green Lantern Panel Warner Bros kicked off the movie side of Comic Con in a big way with a first look at its latest DC Comics superhero tentpole, “Green Lantern.” Glimpse is a more apt description as the movie is still in production in Louisiana and the footage was teasingly half-second images of Ryan Reynolds with the alien power ring, a yellow alien named Tomaray,Reynolds willing a giant fist into existence and plowing some thugs, an alien world, among others.
