Pictures From Transformers:Dark Of The Moon Trailer

Super Bowl Sunday we got our first real look at the upcoming Michael Bay film Transformers: Dark of the Moon . If any trailer needs to slow down it is this one. We have screen shot from the commercial to give you a better look at some of the action. There's so much going on in several of the shots that watching it in real-time is near impossible to tell what's what. For example, there's a scene of what I initially thought were two vehicles colliding head-on and then transforming in mid-air. After taking a look at the screen caps it's clear that Autobot Ironhide is taking on a pair of Decepticon "Dreads" (as they were named on set) SUVs simultaneously. My money's on Ironhide to be the only one to walk away from that fight. First thought the "bird" looking Transformers was a dragon or perhaps a Dinobot . Upon looking at the screen cap it's pretty clear we're looking at Laserbeak , one of Decepticon Soundwave's minions . The turb

Transformers Super Bowl Commercial

Part of watching the Super Bowl every year is seeing what new commercials will be shown. They are almost as big as the game it's self. We have the Transformers: Dark Of The Moon star, Bumblebee (Chevrolet Camaro) giving the store quite a show. Poor bear. Watch the commercial after the Jump.. Please Leave A Comment-

Michael Bay Talks Transformers 3-3D

Bay Set's Record Straight Empire was one of the lucky group summoned to a brown office building in Santa Monica and ushered into a screening theatre to watch some exclusive, early footage from the movie, we made sure to keep the appointment. Bay showed off an impressive sizzle reel chock full of explosions, robots, sleek cars, supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley looking good and Shia LaBeouf looking pensive (no big change there, then) and then sat down to chat about anything and everything in his inimitable, candid style. “People were going on the Internet, saying we didn't do any 3D and there's all this talk, so we're just trying to set the record straight, you know?” You might think the plan would be to shoot part of the film in 3D and convert what the cameras couldn't handle after the fact. Not the case. No, Bay made sure every frame could be shot using the best 3D camera rigs available. It's clearly a better choice for him than relying on conversion t

Exclusive Transformers 3 Set Photos By: Windy

Exclusive Transformers 3 Set Photos By: Windy Our very own Tracy has got us some  Exclusive set photos from the upcoming Transformers 3 set. Head over to her site to view the rest of the pictures and her exclusive story. And stop by on Twitter and thank her for the Exclusive photos. As you may have seen me tweet earlier in the week, Chicago was given advance notice of street closures due to the filming of "Transformers 3" in the business district. So, I grabbed my camera and headed out. The streets where filming takes place are blocked off at least one block away on all sides and filming goes on for about a mile straight. Catching the actors (Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel) is tricky. There are no robots to be seen, but the cars that turn into Transformers are roaming the streets ( check out the picture below )! I'm still looking for Optimus Prime and Bumble Bee... Oh, and with some sleuth city maneuvering, I found the hidden trailer lot. Apparently LaS

Transformers 3 Plot Line And Of Course In 3D

Transformers 3 Plot Line And Of Course In 3D With shooting underway on a third movie and plans to debut next summer, Michael Bay and Co. acknowledge missteps with the last one and aim to upgrade the shape-shifting robot franchise with a more coherent story, less goofball humor and a pledge that characters who die will stay dead. It will also be in 3-D. "I'll take some of the criticism," says Bay, standing at a set built to resemble a dilapidated nuclear reactor. "It was very hard to put (the sequel) together that quickly after the writers' strike (of 2007-08)." Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura says the rush strained the plot: "We tried to do too many things in the second movie, which didn't give enough time in any one of them. We were constantly jumping to the next piece of information, the next place." Bay is not one for mea culpas, but he says he can do better. "This one really builds to a final crescendo. It's not three multip
