New #BATMANVSUPERMAN Clip. Who Wins?

Ben Affleck delivered and exclusive clip last night on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show. The Dawn Of The Justice League & Wonder Woman Logo

Hoping to capture our attention in a big way today, Warner Bros. and DC have been drip-feeding little nuggets from the Justice League , culminating in a TV special that will launch looks at some of the new films and introduce a second Suicide Squad trailer. Until then, we have a logo for Wonder Woman and an image of the Justice League. First up is that logo for Wonder Woman to go along with the film that will pencil in a lot more of the character's backstory following her introduction in this year's Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice . Played by Gal Gadot , we'll meet Princess Diana and some of her family (including her mother, played by Connie Nielsen ) as she has her first encounter with US air intelligence officer Steve Trevor ( Chris Pine ), a man who will have a huge effect on her life, and she on his. We've yet to see much from the film, which is still in production, but we'd expect a few more images to arrive soon enough. Then there's the Jus

#BatmanVSuperman New Images Of Cast

As the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con is now less than a week away, the studios are gearing up to show off what they have to offer in the worlds of science fiction, fantasy, romance, adventure and, of course, superheroics. With Marvel’s Cinematic Universe skipping this year (the TV shows will represent), Warner Bros. and DC are naturally going big with their efforts. Some new images from Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice have emerged via Entertainment Weekly . See all the images after the Jump... As you’ll know by now, the film finds Kal-El ( Henry Cavill ) going toe-to-toe (or cape-to-cowl) with Bruce Wayne ( Ben Affleck ) as a world-weary Batman decides that Superman is just too much of a threat to ignore. And while the idea of Bats taking on Supes would seem to be along the lines of a bicycle battling a tank, Wayne is coming loaded for alien bear, with a reinforced suit that enhances his strength and some handy Kryptonite for making the fight a little more equal. Also

Gosling, Hardy, Smith & Robbie Could Join The Suicide Squad

Included as part of Warner Bros.’ big release date announcement for its DC Comics titles , the adaptation of Suicide Squad is already gathering steam, which is handy since it’s currently set as the first film to launch after 2016’s Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice . And apparently the studio is pursuing Ryan Gosling, Tom Hardy, Will Smith and Margot Robbie to star. It is fairly early days for any discussions, though Deadline goes on to mention that they’re all fairly well disposed to signing on, which might seem surprising, but Smith is no stranger to big action fare and Hardy will do blockbuster work if he’s interested in a part. As for Robbie , she’s clearly a Warners favourite after The Wolf Of Wall Street and Focus , in which she appears with Smith. Gosling , meanwhile, is said to be taking meetings on Houdini and Doctor Strange as well as Suicide Squad according to The Hollywood Reporter , so might finally find himself in the blockbuster business. David Ayer is dir

Warner Bros. & DC Announce Film Line Up Until 2020

Not to be overshadowed by Marvel’s big Captain America 3 / Iron Man / Civil War rumor action earlier this week, Warner Bros. and DC have gone ahead and slapped a big, fat slab of news down on the table with a release date binge for films including Wonder Woman and Suicide Squad . They have also finally given confirmation that Jason Momoa has been cast as Aquaman and revealed that The Perks Of Being A Wallflower ’s Ezra Miller will be The Flash . Time Warner CEO Jeff Bewkes took the opportunity to liven up an otherwise staid shareholder earnings meeting to drop word about Miller’s casting along with the other details. The Flash – which will not be related to the just-launched US TV drama, where Grant Gustin plays the speedy character – will find Miller as Barry Allen, who awakens from a coma to discover that he now has super-speed. He pledges to use his powers for good and ends up part of the Justice League, which means he’ll be running circles around Batman, Superman and the

DC Comics To Shake Up The Movie World

nikkifinke has come out with a big bang.  Warner Bros Pictures is way behind Marvel Studios when it comes to making movies out of its comic book properties. Nikkifinke is reporting on what's coming up at this July’s Comic-Con from the studio. A lot of stuff remains in flux but her sources have so far: May 2016 – Batman v Superman July 2016 – Shazam Xmas 2016 – Sandman May 2017 – Justice League July 2017 – Wonder Woman Xmas 2017 – Flash and Green Lantern team-up May 2018 – Man Of Steel 2 There had been talk of a Metal Men and Suicide Squad movie for sometime in 2016 but that project fell off the schedule. Meanwhile, if you were wondering why Batman v Superman was delayed, it wasn’t the script or Ben Affleck or Jesse Eisenberg but with the fact that this pic will act as a launching pad for the Justice League. According to my source, “Like Marvel’s The Avengers, there will be cameos of superheroes for future installments. The cameos will include the already known Cybo

Justice League Movie Coming After Batman-Superman Movie

The news has about as much shock value as a plastic Halloween mask on a parrot with the lights turned on, but after plenty of speculation, Warner Bros. has gone on the record with the Wall Street Journal about plans for a Justice League movie. And according to the studio’s bosses, Zack Snyder is the man to make it. We’ve suspected this was coming for ages, especially since Snyder’s current assignment, which Warners’ president of worldwide production Greg Silverman labels Superman Vs. Batman though no official title has been announced, is so loaded with DC heroes it’s a wonder the studio doesn’t just go ahead and call it Justice League: Prequel. Still, perhaps the confirmation that a Justice League film proper is coming after Superman Vs Batman can lay to rest concerns that this next film might be a Justice League effort in disguise. With Henry Cavill’s Superman now joined by Ben Affleck’s Batman, Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman and a host of other characters (including Lex Luthor,

Cyborg Cast In Batman-Superman Film

After testing actors over the past couple of weeks, Warner Bros. and DC have tapped theater actor Ray Fisher for the role of Cyborg in the untitled Batman-Superman pic. Victor Stone or Cyborg , while not a major part in the Batman-Superman feature, is a member of the Justice League, and the role will become much more significant role as Warner and DC develop more films related to the Justice League universe, sources confirm. Warner Bros. had no comment on this story. Fisher joins the Batman-Superman cast that includes Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Jesse Eisenberg, Gal Gadot and Amy Adams . Zack Snyder is directing from a script by David S. Goyer, based on a story by Goyer and Snyder. Production is currently under way in Michigan. In the bonus feature on the recent “Man of Steel” homevideo release, Cavill, who plays Superman in the film, said there’s a great deal of promise in Cyborg as well as the fictional research facility S.T.A.R. Labs, which appears in several DC Comi
