Kung Fu Panda 2 Movie Review By: SandwichJohn Ska2oosh! Kung Fu Panda 2 was a great movie for adults and kids alike. From start to end the movie was a great continuation to the first film. The 3D just worked perfect, which seems to be the case with most animated films. Jack Black stars as the lovable Master Po . Also the Furious Five is back for this film Dustin Hoffman as Master Shifu, Angelina Jolie as Tigress, Jackie Chan as Monkey, Lucy Liu as Viper and Seth Rogen as Mantis. The 3D in the film just popped from the very first action sequence of the film. And the 3D that was used in the film was refreshing compared to live action post 3D production. There are a few scene where you have to jump because you think things are going to fly out and hit you. In the movie we get to meet a new vilian named Lord Shen (peacock) voiced by Gary Oldman . The story evolves around Po seeing flashbacks of his life when he was a baby panda and him wanting to find out where he came from.

The penguins of DreamWorks Animation's Madagascar movie fame are graduating to their own feature film. Alan J. Schoolcraft and Brent Simons, the writers behind DWA's Will Ferrell-voiced Megamind, have been tapped to tackle the project, which will feature the paramilitary parables of plucky penguins Skipper, Kowalski, Private and Rico . The four paramilitary avians from Antarctica are secondary but scene-stealing characters in the Madagascar movies, the third of which is scheduled to hit theaters in 2012. In a sign of the foursome's fanning fashionability, when the first movie hit Blu-ray, " The Madagascar Penguins in a Christmas Caper ," an animated short featuring the penguins,was one of the extras. The characters were also spun off in a CGI-animated TV show titled The Penguins of Madagascar that aired on Nickelodeon; it finished 2010 as the second most-watched animated show behind SpongeBob SquarePants amongst ages 2-11. Kung-Fu Panda,  How To Train Your Dragon, & Madagascar Tons Of Sequels Coming Empire sat down with DreamWorks Animation chief Jeffrey Katzenberg this week in London, and asked him about the future of the company. First Look At Puss In Boots To all those who thought we might use a different word for cat in the headline above, shame on you. Gary Oldman To Lend His Voice In “Kung Fu Panda: The Kaboom of Doom" Gary Oldman has joined the voice cast of DreamWorks Animation’s “Kung Fu Panda: The Kaboom of Doom.” Jennifer Yuh Nelson is directing the film, slated for a summer 2011 release. “Kaboom” is a 3D sequel to the successful 2008 film about Po, a panda voiced by Jack Black. The story centres on Po's search for other pandas and his run-in with a group of bandits. Oldman voices a character named Peacock who helps Po find the bandits but is more than he seems. How To Train Your Dragon 2 Arrives In 2013 DreamWorks Animation announced today during its First Quarter financial results that they will be making a sequel to the hit CGI animated film How To Train Your Dragon, and that it will be released in theaters in 2013. I was surprised when I saw this film, I took my daughter and had not interest in the film at all. But when I left the theaters I was praising the film and telling everyone I know that they need to go watch the film. The movie made $375 million dollars worldwide so far.So something is working for them.
