BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

The Dark Knight Rises, Who Is The Villain?

Let's start with the news about whom Batman will be facing as a villain in The Dark Knight Rises  is a Rumor nothing has been confirmed. Rumor . Truth as she herself confirmed, Anne Hathaway will be playing Selina Kyle/Catwoman in the movie. I can’t tell you what role she has in the beginning, but by the end of the story Catwoman isn’t a villain but rather an ally of Batman. And who are they teaming up to take out? Now onto the Rumors: badassdigest talked to a good source near the Batcamp and have come away with information about The Dark Knight Rises that confirms lots of speculation from recent months. This is, technically, all spoilers. I feel pretty confident that this info is good, but know that Christopher Nolan has gotten very, very skilled at manipulating us nerds and isn’t above throwing out some misinformation from time to time. Here goes nothing: The League of Shadows . Headed by Talia Al’Ghul . With Bane ( Tom Hardy ), who is her muscle/possible love

Henry Cavill Cast As The Man Of Steel

"Tudors" regular Henry Cavill has been chosen as the next man of steel, playing the dual roles of Superman and his mortal alter-ego Clark Kent in the upcoming Warner/Legendary co-production of "Superman." The British actor is best known for playing confidante Charles Brandon to Jonathan Rhys Meyers' Henry VIII in Showtime's acclaimed period-drama series " The Tudors ," but already seemed poised for a feature-film breakout with a starring role in Summit's upcoming action film " The Cold Light of Day ," which also features Bruce Willis and Sigourney Weaver. He's also set to star in Relativity's fantasy-drama " Immortals " alongside Mickey Rourke later this year. Cavill has tried to step into a big iconic studio role before, unsuccessfully auditioning for the " Batman " role won by Christian Bale in 2005, and the 007 spot that went to Daniel Craig. According to a Warner official, Cavill's name

Christian Bale Up For Another Batman Film

This may not come as a huge surprise but it does come straight from the horse's mouth: Christian Bale , talking to Empire last month, said that The Dark Knight Rises will be his last Batman movie...probably. "All I know is the likelihood that this will be the last one," says the star. " Well, I wouldn't say definitely . If Chris goes, 'Hey, I've got another story I think could be interesting,' then yeah, great, I'd go do that . I always assumed it would be three, but I could be wrong. I don't know if there's something wrong with me, but I don't feel any pressure." Nolan's on record as saying that the next film will be the last chapter in his Batman franchise, so we're going to assume that's it, but hey! It's nice that Bale isn't locking anything out. It's clear throughout our interview that he and Christopher Nolan continue to enjoy a great relationship, and also that Bale's looking forward to the

Anne Hathaway & Tom Hardy Nab Roles In The Dark Knight Rises

Anne Hathaway has nabbed the coveted female lead opposite Christian Bale in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises . Warner Bros. made the announcement Wednesday morning. The studio also revealed which character Tom Hardy , who joined the cast last fall, will play: Bane . Bane, a man who spent his whole life in prison, was a test subject for a drug that gave him increased strength, although he also became addicted to that drug. As opposed to some of the more classic villains that have populated the Batman movies, Bane is a more recent creation (1993) and is best known for a story where he broke Batman’s back, leaving the hero a paraplegic . “I am delighted to be working with Tom again and excited to watch him bring to life our new interpretation of one of Batman’s most formidable enemies,” Nolan said in a statement. Hathaway was on the the list of actresses which tested for the role in recent weeks, along with Jessica Biel and Keira Knightley, as revealed by Heat Vi

Christopher Nolan Talks Superman Reboot

Christopher Nolan Talks Superman Reboot In the latest issue of Empire magazine Christopher Nolan had comments to share on David S. Goyer and the upcoming Superman reboot he's penning and producing. Nolan had this to say; “..What it is, while David Goyer and myself were putting together the story for another Batman film a few years ago, you know thrashing out where we might move on from the Dark Knight, we got stuck. We were just sitting there idly chatting and he said ”by the way, I think I know how you approach Superman”.. and he told me his take on it. I thought it was really tremendous. It was the first time I’ve been able to conceive of how you’d address Superman in a modern context I thought it was a really exciting idea. What you have to remember about Batman and Superman is that what makes them the best superhero characters there are, the most beloved after all this time, is the essence of who they were when they were created, when they were first developed. You can’
