Say hello to my little friend — again. According to THR , Universal is moving forward with its Scarface remake and has tapped Straight Outta Compton writer Jonathan Herman to do the rewrite. Paul Attanasio and David Ayer wrote previous drafts of the film, which will be a new and original take on the immigrant story, which spawned films in 1932 and 1983. The 1983 version, which was released by Universal, tells the story of Cuban refugee Tony Montana ( Al Pacino ) who arrives in 1980s Miami with nothing and rises up to become a powerful drug kingpin. That film made the expression, "Say hello to my little friend," one of the most iconic lines in cinema. Will Smith, Tom Hardy, Margot Robbie and Jared Leto are officially set to star in Suicide Squad , Warner Bros. announced Tuesday. Also cast in the movie based on the DC Entertainment villains-forced-to-be-heroes are Jai Courtney and Cara Delevingne . Much of the castings have been previously reported but the studio also confirmed which characters the actors will play. Smith will play Deadshot , best known as a Batman villain, while Hardy the group’s leader, Rick Flagg . Leto will take on the Joker while Robbie will play Harley Quinn , his on-and-off girlfriend. Courtney will be Boomerang while Delevingne , the model-turned-actress who is also in Warners' Pan tentpole, will play Enchantress , a sorceress. He has kept his crew alive through the War, but in the final push into Germany things are about to get tougher. The creator of the highly-acclaimed End of Watch struck out big time with Arnold Schwarzenegger's Sabotage , but now the Oscar-winner is back with a look at the final year of WWII. He goes back in time for the goes back in time with the upcoming historical thriller Fury . The trailer, which can be viewed below, offers up a 300-esque showdown involving an American tank against hundreds of German soldiers. In the trailer, we can see Ayer's trademark gritty style, but it's his writing that fans are most hopeful to witness.
