What you have here is some bloody good time in the theaters, a little bit of revenge, a little bit of rescue, a little bit of spaghetti western, a little bit of love story, a little bit of good vs. evil, and whole lotta great performances all across the board from such calibers as Leonardo DiCaprio, Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, and Samuel L. Chris Hemsworth is attached to star in writer-director Stephen Gaghan’s crime thriller “ Candy Store ,” a representative for the film has told TheWrap . The story follows an elite, deep-cover operative who loses everything, ultimately disappearing into Brooklyn, where he must start again. He winds up as a beat up cop, only to discover the global organization he was dedicated to fighting is operating in his new backyard. A number of other actors have come up in association with the project, including Brad Pitt and Christoph Waltz . In addition writing and directing "Candy Store," Gaghan, who won an Oscar for "Traffic," is producing with Alli Shearmur. Hemsworth is also being eyed for a role in “Triumph AKA 40 Summers Ago,” the Steve McQueen biopic that is set up at Sony with Jerry Weintraub producing. Hemsworth’s younger brother, Liam, has also has an offer for "Triumph," which follows the true story of McQueen and his relationship to his stunt

Christoph Waltz is in talks to join the cast of Disney's " Muppets " sequel. Thesp will play an Interpol agent in the film that is being scripted by James Bobin and Nicholas Stoller, who wrote the first pic with Jason Segel . Bobin will return as helmer. The Mouse House is looking to release the pic sometime next year. David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman also return as producers. Waltz's recent credits include " Water for Elephants ," " The Three Musketeers " and Roman Polanski's " Carnage ." He'll next appear in Quentin Tarantino's " Django Unchained ." Despite his huge fan appeal, Quentin Tarantino has not graced the massive Hall H at Comic-Con before. But that changed today when the man known as QT brought some of his latest creation, Django Unchained , to the event Saturday morning. Arriving on stage at a thronged Hall H, Tarantino had rounded up Jamie Foxx (dressed for the occasion in hat and beard), Walton Goggins, Don Johnson, Christoph Waltz and Kerry Washington . Thanking fans for standing in line for so long, the director began by explaining that he’d had the film in his noggin for 13 years and had long wanted to do a Western. Yahoo got their hands on the first teaser poster for The Weinstein Company's " Django Unchained ", the next film from director Quentin Tarantino starring Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, Samuel L. She’ll play the long-suffering slave wife of Django ( Jamie Foxx ), who is freed by a bounty hunter ( Christoph Waltz ) and taught the tricks of that trade. Django’s real desire is to be reunited with his wife, who winds up in a variety of unsavory places and whose travails drive the plot. It leads to a confrontation in Candyland, a ranch owned by the notorious Calvin Candie ( Leonardo DiCaprio ). Tarantino had his eye on Washington from the beginning, but he was also intrigued with making a discovery in the role, and that led to a long casting search before the director went back to Washington for the female lead.
