Smallville Season 10 Surprise & Panel Update

Smallville Season 10 Surprise & Panel Update We have been hearing things about the " Lazarus " first episode of the tenth and final season of Smallville. A few site out there are reporting that the character has been dead so a awhile and will be resurrected for more then one episode of the show. Spoiler Alert: None other than John Schneider is set to return to the series in Season 10, reprising his role as Clark's adoptive human father, Jonathan Kent. Obviously Jonathan's return raises some questions, given that the character died back in Season 5 . I can't reveal yet the how and why of Jonathan's appearance, but I can tell you that we'll see him in the season premiere, entitled "Lazarus." In addition, Schneider is expected to appear in at least one other episode as the season continues. Season will premiere on  Friday, September 24th on The CW . I am sure we will hear more news during their panel at Comic-Con in a few weeks. Mak

What Shows Will Networks Pickup?

What Shows Will Networks Pickup? With the networks wrapping up their internal screenings, pilots are entering the final stretch when executives factor in testing and testing results as well as scheduling needs to make their picks for next fall. Here is the latest buzz on which pilots are still in contention: FOX Besides the Steven Spielberg-produced dinosaur fantasy Terra Nova, which is prepping for a midseason launch, Fox may pick up only one or two more new drama series, especially if it renews one of its bubble drama series Human Target or Lie To Me. (Human Target is looking a little stronger at the moment.) Midland appears a lock for the one slot, with a possible launch behind Fox's flagship drama House a possibility. Breakout Kings and Shawn Ryan’s Ridealong would duke it out for the potential second slot. On the comedy side, Greg Garcia’s Keep Hope Alive and Mitch Hurwitz’s Wilde Kingdom have emerged as frontrunners, with Traffic Light and Security also in the running

Smallville Returning For A 10th Season

Smallville Returning For A 10th Season As most of us thought CW is going to bring back Samllville for a 10th season, even after that horrible 2hr special Smallville: Absolute Justice. Wow was that a bad one. The series has been holding up strong for the network on ultra-tough Friday nights this season. “Smallville” joins five previously announced series that will return next season on the network -- “The Vampire Diaries,” “Gossip Girl,” “90210,” “Supernatural” and “America’s Next Top Model." "La Femme Nikita" Ordered By The CW

"La Femme Nikita" Ordered By The CW The CW has picked up the pilot, an update of the 1990s action-thriller "La Femme Nikita." The French film "Nikita," about a young criminal who's trained to be an assassin by a top-secret government organization, was originally made by Luc Besson in 1990, then was remade in 1993 as a U.S. film starring Bridget Fonda called "Point of No Return." The story was then launched as a TV series in 1997 on USA Network. "Nikita" will give The CW its first non-supernatural action-drama. In this version, Nikita goes rogue and a new assassin is trained to replace her. McG ("Terminator: Salvation," "Human Target") will executive produce the "Nikita" remake, along with Peter Johnson and Craig Silverstein (episodes of "Bones," "K-Ville"), who will write and exec produce. The show is from Warner Bros. and Wonderland Prods. Please Leave A Comment- Source-

Smallville: Absolute Justice Trailer

Smallville: Absolute Justice Trailer The two-hour "Absolute Justice" arc seems like it might be the thing that brings me back to "Smallville." This season Clark takes his superhero persona into obsessive territory when he leaves behind those he cares for so that he can focus solely on Jor-El's training. In order to accomplish this, Clark wears a new costume that sports his family crest on the chest. The theme of the season is about Clark finally embracing his alien heritage, while also being his darkest hour thus far. As a result, Clark's relationship with Chloe and Oliver will suffer this season. Season nine will also see the introduction of more DC Comics characters, including multiple episode appearances for the Justice Society of America, villain Metallo, and villainess Agent Amanda Waller. Written by prolific comic creator Geoff Johns, "Absolute Justice" will feature the debut of one of my favorite superhero teams: The Justice Society of Ameri

Smallville 2 Hour Movie Premiere “Society” and “Legends”

Smallville 2 Hour Movie Premiere “Society” and “Legends” I’ve got some big news for all my Super friends out there. I’m hearing The CW has decided to package Smallville’s upcoming (and highly-anticipated) Justice Society-themed two-parter into a two-hour movie event airing on Jan. 29. The Geoff Johns-penned episodes — titled “Society” and “Legends” and featuring such DC Comics stalwarts as Stargirl ( Britt Irvin ) , Hawkman ( Michael Shanks ) , and Dr. Fate ( Brent Stait ) — were originally designed to air separately. But, according to Smallville insiders, CW execs felt they could get more mileage out of combining them. Please Leave A Comment- Source- EW

Metallo Preview From Smallville

Metallo Preview From Smallville I have always been a fan of Brian Austin Green from his days on 90210, Yes I still watch them on reruns. Guilty pleasure I guess. He did a great job on The Sarah Conner Chronicles on Fox. Still pissed that the show was taken off the air for Dollhouse. Please visit Save The Sarah Connor Chronicles. To let them know you want the show back on the air. And Now for the Preview of Brian Austin Green starring as Metallo from Smallville Spoiler- The Show Is On Every Friday- Please Leave A Comment-

Is Supernatural Going To End In 2010?

Is Supernatural Going To End In 2010? Supernatural creator Eric Kripke is sticking by his word that his CW thriller will bow out next May after five seasons. Sort of. “I did set out [to] tell a five-season storyline,” the exec maintains. “Quite frankly, I never expected [the show] to make it to five years. But now that we’re in our fifth year, I have every intention of ending the story with a bang and not drawing it out our watering it down.” Relax, Supe Nazis. Here’s that catch I promised you…“That having been said,” Kripke continues, “I’m looking at this season as the last chapter in this particular story. That doesn’t mean there can’t be a new story. Buffy did it. The X-Files did it. You close a chapter on a big mythology storyline and then you begin a new one. “One of the things I like about this show is we don’t draw out mysteries endlessly,” he adds. “We’ll answer a bunch of questions this season and then pose some new ones next season.” Of course, that’s assuming there is a nex

Are The Wonder Twins Coming To Smallville ?

Are The Wonder Twins Coming To Smallville Season Nine Well the Rumor is that they will be appearing in The fifth episode Smallville. The two characters that many are suspecting will be the Wonder Twins - Zan and Jayna. Is Gleek going to make an Appearance too? David Gallagher will be playing the role they are casting as "Tanner" which many are expecting as a code for "Zan." Gallagher is best known to WB/CW viewers as "Simon" on the long-running 7th Heaven. Allison Scagliotti , who recently appeared on Warehouse 13 and includes One Tree Hill and Drake & Josh among her past credits, will be playing Twyla - er, Jayna.. The ninth season of Smallville premieres Friday, September 25 on The CW. The season's fifth episode, "Idol," airs in late October.

Is Smallville Coming back for a 10th Season?

Is Smallville Coming back for a 10th Season? Dawn Ostroff, president of entertainment for The CW, confirmed that the network's not quite finished with Smallville, though it's been reported that the upcoming ninth season might be its last. "I hope it's not the last season," Ostroff told reporters at the Television Critics Association summer press tour in Pasadena, Calif., today. "I think the producers have done a great job coming up with really good storylines this year, but I do think the show still has a lot of life yet to it." Smallville moves to Fridays this fall, when Ostroff wants to use the long-running series to anchor a new night of programming (WWE Smackdown previously ruled The CW on Fridays). "This is the first year we're actually migrating all of our viewers to Friday night," Ostroff said. "We felt the best way to open up Friday night was with a big established hit like Smallville." Ostroff is also holding the door ope
