Andrea Riseborough , who starred as Wallis Simpson in Madonna’s W.E., is set to star opposite Alexander Skarsgard in Hidden , a horror thriller from Matt and Ross Duffer, who are writing and directing. Roy Lee, Mason Novick and Lawrence Grey are producing the low-budget Warner Bros. movie, and John Middleton and Sebastian Aloi will exec produce. The script is described as an elevated horror-thriller about a family hiding in a bomb shelter after escaping a mysterious outbreak. Riseborough will play the wife of Skarsgard and mother of their child. The movie will shoot this year. Jon Berg will oversee the project for Warners. Riseborough, who has appeared in British movies including Made in Dagenham and Happy-Go-Lucky, has been slowly making inroads into the Hollywood scene. James Marsden has said that he would love to appear on True Blood . The 38-year-old, who has worked with two True Blood stars before, confessed that he would not be opposed to making an appearance on the HBO series. "Oh, that's right, [I've starred with] Anna Paquin [in X-Men] and now Alexander [Skarsgård in Straw Dogs]," Marsden told MTV News when asked whether he would consider taking a role on True Blood. True Blood star Alexander Skarsgard is in talks to join Brit Marling in The East , a thriller Marling co-wrote with her The Sound of My Voice collaborator Zal Batmanglij, who is directing. While plot details are hazy, the story revolves around a female agent who infiltrates an eco-terrorist group. The title of the movie refers to the group’s name. If a deal comes together, Skarsgard would play the leader of the group who seeks revenge against unethical corporations. Michael Costigan of Scott Free Prods. is producing the movie, which is eyeing a tentative Nashville shoot in October and November. Fox Searchlight, which released Marling’s Another Earth and is opening Sound of My Voice , will likely distribute the film. Liam Neeson Hops On The "Battleship" Liam Neeson is joining the cast of Universal's "Battleship" alongside Alexander Skarsgard, Taylor Kitsch, Brooklyn Decker and Rihanna . Deal was announced Tuesday, the same day director Peter Berg began shooting the live-action tentpole based on Hasbro's naval combat board game. Neeson will portray Admiral Shane alongside Kitsch, who portrays Shane's future son-in-law. Decker is playing Shane's daughter. Skarsgard will play the brother to Kitsch's character. True Blood Gives Eric's Sidekick A Meatier Role From Barfly To Lesbian Relationship Eric's sidekick Pam on "True Blood" is getting a promotion. Kristin Bauer, who plays blonde vampire Pam, Eric's (Alexander Skarsgard) wingwoman at vampire bar Fangtasia, has been promoted to a regular on the HBO series. Bauer had guest starred on Alan Ball's vampire drama for the first two seasons, appearing in a total of 11 episodes. Ball recently hinted that may have a meaty story line in store for Pam for Season 3 when she may get into a lesbian relationship.
