TITANS follows young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find belonging in a gritty take on the classic Teen Titans franchise.

DC’s upcoming digital streaming services, DC Universe which includes digital comics, library content, and a social-media element, will be available for $74.99 and monthly subscriptions will be available for $7.99. Pre-orders for the app opened this Thursday.



Other new shows that are coming to that platform are “Doom Patrol” and “Swamp Thing,” and “Harley Quinn” new animated series and the third season of “Young Justice.”

TITANS
Minka Kelly plays Dove a.k.a Dawn Granger and Alan Ritchson plays Hawk a.k.a Hank Hall. They are the crime-fighting, vigilante and romantic couple of Hawk and Dove.

Both Kelly and Ritchson will be recurring role but they might get promoted to series regulars in season 2, if all goes well.

Brenton Thwaites plays Dick Grayson a.k.a Robin
Teagan Croft plays Raven and Anna Diop plays Starfire.
Lindsey Gort plays the recurring role of police detective Amy Rohrbach

Raven is the demon’s daughter who has powerful empath and must keep her emotions otherwise she could unleash her demonic side.

Starfire is the alien princess from a warrior planet who seeks asylum on earth, she can shoot energy bolts and she can fly.

Hiro Hamada plays Beast Boy/Garfield Logan whose abilities include metamorphic ability to transform into any animal or animal-like protist

April Bowlby plays the role of Rita Farr a.k.a Elasti-Girl, a member of Doom Patrol, on DC digital streaming service’s live action “Titans” series. Rita Farr is rising actress exposed to a toxic gas, a situation resulting in her ability to expand and shrink her body at will.

Bruno Bichir plays the recurring role of Dr. Niles “The Chief” Caulder, described as a brilliant but controversial medical science pioneer in search of those on the edge of death and in need of miracle. He’s associated with a group of strange heroes who call themselves the Doom Patrol

Doom Patrol is a superhero team originally created by writers Arnold Drake and Bob Haney and artist Bruno Premiani. The team consists of super-powered misfits whose abilities cause them alienation and trauma. Team members include The Chief (Niles Caulder), Robotman (Cliff Steele), Elasti-Girl (Rita Farr), and Negative Man (Larry Trainor)

Housed at WB TV, produced by Greg Berlanti, Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns and Sarah Schechter, this series is expected to premiere on DC direct-to-consumer digital service in 2018

“Titans” follows a group of young soon-to-be Super Heroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe. In this action-packed series, Dick Grayson emerges from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of new heroes, including Starfire, Raven and many others. “Titans” is a dramatic, live-action adventure series that will explore and celebrate one of the most popular comic book teams ever.

“Titans” will be written by Akiva Goldsman (“Star Trek: Discovery,” “Underground”), Geoff Johns (President & Chief Creative Officer, DC Entertainment; “The Flash,” “Arrow”) and Greg Berlanti (“Arrow,” “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow,” “The Flash,” “Supergirl”). Goldsman, Johns, Berlanti and Sarah Schechter (“Arrow,” “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow,” “The Flash,” “Supergirl”) are executive producers of the series from Weed Road Pictures and Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.

Winona Ryder- An "Alienation" Expert? We're halfway checked out for the holiday weekend, so let's end with bit of comedy. A litigious videogame player is calling Winona Ryder to testify as an expert in "alienation." Erik Estavillo has filed a $1 million lawsuit in California Superior Court against Activision Blizzard, publisher of "World of Warcraft," saying it "maintain(s) a harmful virtual environment to many of its customers by forcing them to follow the game's sneaky and deceitful practices." The plaintiff says he suffers from several mental health problems brought on by WoW's "alienating" features, such as forcing beginners to walk or run to get from one point to another instead of speedier options available to those who master the game or buy an expansion pack. Estavillo says that the slow pace is "deceitful" because more time = more subscription revenue for Activision. Here's where Winona Ryder comes...
