BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

First Image Of Tom Cruise In Jack Reacher Never Go Back

You might expect the first new image of Tom Cruise as Jack Reacher from Never Go Back, the sequel to the eponymous 2012 film to show the man in question back in action, brawling or chasing someone. Instead, in one of the images released by People, he's doing a bit of moody balcony posing in New Orleans alongside Cobie Smulders.

Never Go Back, adapted from Lee Child's 18th Reacher novel, which finds the tough vigilante returning to his old army headquarters, only to discover that he's been accused of a murder that went down 16 years ago. The reason he breaks the advice about not returning? He's there to help an Army Major (Smulders) who is accused of spying.

And from the looks of the image below, Reacher doesn't exactly endear himself to the locals. No real shock there, then.

As you might imagine from a Tom Cruise film – directed this time by his The Last Samurai collaborator Edward Zwick – the man himself was ready and up for anything on the action front.

"It's a pretty boring job to be Tom's stunt double," Zwick says. "He did all of his own stunts. It's almost a hallmark of what he does. He does every bit of it himself."

But according to the director, Smulders was right there with him. "She does it all herself, too. She didn't use a stunt double." Well, she is Maria Hill, after all.

With Austin Hebert, Patrick Heusinger, Aldis Hodge, Holt McCallany and Robert Knepper also in the cast, Jack Reacher: Never Go Back .

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...
