BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

#XMen Universe Cast Photo

Via Empire in all good and evil newsagents, and among its many bountiful treasures, there's an extensive preview of Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Apocalypse. Like a fatherly Professor X, we've gathered together the gifted youngsters of the growing X-Men cinematic universe for a big, starry, extremely good-looking cast photo.

There’s much to admire - Channing Tatum’s t-shirt, James McAvoy’s shaven head, Oscar Isaac’s Blue Steel - so we recommend you click here to view a larger version and move in for a closer look.

Shot exclusively for Empire by Sarah Dunn at San Diego Comic-Con last July, with a background illustration by John Royle, it features fourteen members of Fox’s mutantverse, past and present.

The X-tended family, from left to right: T.J. Miller (Weasel in Deadpool); James McAvoy (Prof. Charles Xavier in X-Men: Apocalypse); Michael Fassbender (Magneto in Apocalypse); Channing Tatum (Gambit in Gambit); Ed Skrein (Ajax in Deadpool); Gina Carano (Angel Dust in Deadpool); Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique in Apocalypse); Hugh Jackman (Wolverine in Untitled Wolverine Sequel); Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool in Deadpool); Brianna Hildebrand (Negasonic Teenage Warhead in Deadpool); Oscar Isaac (Apocalypse in Apocalypse); Evan Peters (Quicksilver in Apocalypse); Nicholas Hoult (Beast in Apocalypse); Olivia Munn (Psylocke in Apocalypse

But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...

Winona Ryder- An "Alienation" Expert?

Winona Ryder- An "Alienation" Expert? We're halfway checked out for the holiday weekend, so let's end with bit of comedy. A litigious videogame player is calling Winona Ryder to testify as an expert in "alienation." Erik Estavillo has filed a $1 million lawsuit in California Superior Court against Activision Blizzard, publisher of "World of Warcraft," saying it "maintain(s) a harmful virtual environment to many of its customers by forcing them to follow the game's sneaky and deceitful practices." The plaintiff says he suffers from several mental health problems brought on by WoW's "alienating" features, such as forcing beginners to walk or run to get from one point to another instead of speedier options available to those who master the game or buy an expansion pack. Estavillo says that the slow pace is "deceitful" because more time = more subscription revenue for Activision. Here's where Winona Ryder comes...
