BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Interview With VANESSA CELSO. Keep An Eye Out For Her

Today just keeps getting better first my interview with Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek and now this.

I got a chance to talk to up and comer actress by the name of VANESSA CELSO. That's right you heard it here VANESSA CELSO! During her career so far you might have seen her most recently in IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADEPHIA. Make sure to check out "The Ballad of Mary and Ernie”. Where she plays Mary. It’s a super creative and quirky comedy web series

Make sure to visit her site and follow her on Twitter and let her know that SandoJohnny sent you.

1. Tell my fans a little about yourself, some history on who you are?

Why is this always the hardest question…Let’s see… I like long walks on the beach, I’m a Capricorn… Ok, scratch that. I was born to a Brazilian musician father and a Californian hippy mother. I turned out to be a 1/2 Brazilian down to earth Cali girl with a passion for comedy and laughter.

2. When did you get the acting bug?

I grew up around musicians and artists so I guess you could say I was born with the bug. I started performing at a very young age. My mother put me in dance classes when I was 5 years old and it went from there.

3. What or why did you choose to become an actress?

I was sort of floating around in college trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life, taking classes that were extremely uninspiring. Every time I really thought about it, the performer in me would creep in and say "Hello! You are an actress. That's what you are meant to be doing." I finally listened to that voice. It was a scary move but I went for it.

4. Weirdest thing you have been asked to do during an audition?

I was sent me to an audition where the role called for a "flair" bartender. I had no idea what I was doing and when I went into the room they had a whole bar set up. I thought, "Hey, I can do this. How hard can it be to throw a few bottles in the air?" My confidence got the best of me and I went for it. I tried to do some sort of fancy trick and I dropped a bottle on the ground, it broke and splattered red liquid all over the casting office! I was mortified.

5. Have you had any OMG (that's right I said it) moments in Hollywood? I can't believe I met this person? Or been star struck?

One time I was invited to a Grammy party and I had the pleasure of being in the super secret party within the party for Prince. It was definitely on of those OMG moments. I mean it’s PRINCE he is such an epic artist. I also geeked out when I met John Cleese, I'm a huge Monty Python fan so I was very excited.

6. Any roles you went out for any didn't get or turned down which in return became a huge role for someone else?

Meryl Streep has my number… I was supposed to play Julia Childs. Dang her!!!

7. Top five favorite movies?

This is such a tough question for me! I just love so many movies. Ok, here goes and this is in no particular order.

-Drop Dead Fred (I want to play Elizabeth in the remake!!!)

-The Princess Bride (I could watch it on repeat and never get sick of it. It's just the right combo fantastical and hilarious)

-One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest (Incredible, that's all I have to say!)
Now I'm feeling the pressure... only two spots left.

-The Godfather (Sonny Corleones death scene was both tragic and epic. It gets me every time)
Ok, for my last one I'm going to put one of my favorite newer movies or my 2 favorite new movies?
-Hannah (so well done)

-Blue Valentine (I think Ryan Gosling is incredibly talented and I would love to work with him one day)

By the way… this list could totally change by tomorrow.

8. What's on your DVR?

I’m totally hooked on Up All Night, the new NBC comedy. I watch that with my fiancé and the couple on the show totally reminds us of our relationship. Parenthood, which I think is one of the best shows on TV, I can't get through an episode without balling my eyes out. And my guilty pleasure The Rachael Zoe Project, I'm a little obsessed with fashion, so it's always fun to watch what she does with all her clients.

9. Gotta know who does Vanessa hang out with on her days off? Any celebrity friends?

I have a great group of artistic friends here in LA. Some are on series and such. Also, my fiancé is childhood friends with Josh Duhamel. We hang with him and his beautiful wife Fergie. They are wonderful people.

10. Any thing you want to plug? Any upcoming roles we can see you in?

You can always catch me on “The Ballad of Mary and Ernie”. I play Mary. It’s a super creative and quirky comedy web series that was created by one of the industries best visual effects guys. I also have a few very exciting things in the works but nothing I can talk about publicly yet.

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...
